What did we learn from the 2026 World Happiness Report?

The results are in and Finland is No. 1 (again!).

This years theme is Happiness and Social media and there is plenty of useful insights from the new research.

The key take aways are that heavy social media use is worse for wellbeing than lighter use, but also that how we use social media really matters.

Using it for connection or learning is better for us than scrolling. Platforms driven by algorithms, influencers and comparison make us less happy.

Rather than influencers and audiences what we need most is community.

Happiness comes from actively building real human connections and finding meaning in our lives. 🌟💙
