❗ Reminder: the Karen Wetherell AKBD Memorial Scholarship deadline is May 31st!

This scholarship was established in Karen’s memory, to support NKBA members in good standing who have a family member heading to college, vocational, or trade school this fall. The recipient does not need to be an NKBA member, or major in design — this benefit is for you as a member, for the people in your life entering that next chapter.

If that’s you, or someone you know, please apply or share!

🌸 A Look Back at Design in Bloom!

Last month we gathered at the Cambria Sales & Distribution Center in Milford, MA for a beautiful evening of inspiration and connection — and we loved every minute of it!

A huge thank you to our friends at for hosting such an incredible event and for presenting an inspiring CEU session: Practically Optimistic: Channeling Optimism as a Guiding Design Principle. 🌿
It was a wonderful night of new designs, great conversation, and connecting with fellow design professionals.

🎉 Congratulations to Polina M. from Onyx for winning our NKBA specialty badge raffle — valued at $199!

🗓️Up next: Join us on May 28th in Hyannis! 🔜
