National Organization for People of Color Against Suicide NOPCAS promotes life-affirming strategies that will help to decrease life-threatening behaviors.

It is our aim to develop prevention, intervention, and postvention support services to the families and communities impacted adversely by the effects of violence, depression, and su***de in an effort to decrease life-threatening behavior. We invite the participation and support of all those who wish to assist in the effort to reduce the incidence of su***de in minority communities.

NOPCAS serves as the only national organization of its kind addressing the issue of su***de prevention and intervention, specifically in communities of color. Our primary focus and mission is to increase su***de education and awareness. We offer unique opportunities for outreach partnerships and community education efforts directed at communities of colors across the nation.
