🌊 BATTLE OF THE CITIES 2026 🏆
Tijuana. Rosarito. Ensenada.
3 ciudades. 3 equipos. 21 surfers por club. Un solo océano. 🤙🏼
🏆 ROSARITO — CAMPEONES 🥇 103.02 puntos
🥈 Ensenada 2do. 81.4 puntos
🥉 Tijuana 3ero. 64.95 puntos
¡Felicidades a Rosarito, los primeros campeones en la historia del Battle of the Cities! 🔥🏆
Tenemos el talento.
Tenemos las olas.
Tenemos la comunidad.
Ahora toca organizarnos, entrenar y seguir construyendo juntos.
🏆 Battle of the Cities 2026 — ROSARITO CAMPEÓN.
Esto es historia. Esto es comunidad. Esto apenas comienza. 🤙🏼
🌊 BATTLE OF THE CITIES 2026 🏆
September 5th — A Historic Day for Baja Surfing
History was made at Playa Raul’s. 🇲🇽
The Baja Surf Club, together with the Baja California Surf Association, introduced the Boardriders team format to Baja California and Mexico for the very first time.
Tijuana. Rosarito. Ensenada.
3 cities. 3 teams. 21 surfers per club. One ocean. 🤙🏼
🏆 ROSARITO — CHAMPIONS 🥇
🥈 Ensenada
🥉 Tijuana
Congratulations to Rosarito for becoming the first-ever Battle of the Cities champions! 🔥
But this day was about much more than a trophy.
The Boardriders movement has deep roots in Australia, where team-based surf clubs have been an important part of surf culture and talent development for decades. The movement later took off in the United States, growing tremendously over the past 10 years.
Now Baja is part of that movement. 🌊🇲🇽
What we witnessed was something special: different generations, different cities, competing together with respect, friendship, teamwork, honor and aloha spirit.
And the waves delivered! ☀️
A solid south/southwest swell, light winds, and incredible lefts and rights made Playa Raul’s the perfect stage for this historic first event.
We are incredibly proud of every surfer who showed up and represented their city.
This is only the beginning.
The goal is to keep building, keep training, develop our young talent, and create opportunities for Baja surfers to compete at the next level — including U.S. Board Riders and beyond. 🌎
We have the talent.
We have the waves.
We have the community.
Now let’s build the future together. 🤙🏼
