Two horses. Two lives given another chance.

Clara Rose is finally home. Many of you know her heartbreaking story and the months she spent alone, slowly starving.

But there was a surprise waiting for us in Louisiana.

Meet Hobo, a three-year-old stallion who escaped the kill pen at the very last moment. We were able to save him, too.

Just like a true hobo, he hitched a ride on our Freedom Train.

The condition of these two horses is absolutely devastating. Their bodies have been ravaged by starvation and neglect. Every visible bone tells a story of suffering no living creature should ever endure. Their recovery will be long, difficult, and uncertain. But today, they are safe, they are loved, and their healing can finally begin.

Welcome home, Clara Rose and Hobo. You never have to face this world alone again.

Harvey is very smart, don’t worry we’ll be putting in another precaution chain to keep him inside . The good news is he isn’t crying for his mom anymore. I believe on Tuesday he will be castrated.

Sugar says good morning everybody! And we are open today from 10 to 2 and it’s free
