Louisiana Equality Foundation Serving the Louisiana LGBT Community through community activism and awareness and helping to provide resources to LGBT individuals and families.

Louisiana Equality Foundation is an all- volunteer organization formed in order to educate, organize community action, to support activities, programs, and services that increase visibility and public awareness of le***an, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (“LGBT”) issues. Further, we are committed to providing essential resources that benefit the health and well-being of the LGBT community in Louisiana.

General information

The Louisiana Equality Foundation was formed in August of 2014 to heighten awareness of the on-going issues that face the LGBTQ community. We are a state-wide organization based in New Orleans, focused on raising awareness of and taking action on issues of social justice; including, but not limited to homelessness, bullying, substance abuse, su***de prevention, workplace discrimination, public health issues, and the infirm.
