General information

RENDEZVOUS is the biggest Scouting/Camping/Exhibition Event held by the Piedmont Council, BSA. In 2016, RENDEZVOUS will be themed around STEM. STEM is part of an initiative the Boy Scouts of America has taken on to encourage the natural curiosity of youth members and their sense of wonder about these fields through existing programs. From astronomy to welding, Scouts can't help but enjoy the wide range of STEM-related activities. Piedmont Council BSA's Rendezvous is a Jamboree-style Scouting extravaganza for all Scouting units in the entire eleven county area of the Piedmont Council. Rendezvous is a three day council-wide camping event for Cubs, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers.

Venturing. A year-round program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age to provide positive experiences through exciting and meaningful youth-run activities that help them pursue their special interests, grow by teaching others, and develop leadership skills.

Exploring is a worksite-based program of Learning for Life, a subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America, for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old (15 through 21 in some areas).
