Breakthroughs in treating and preventing cancer are due in large part to the work of the American Cancer Society. We fund scientists who conduct innovative research on childhood cancer at medical schools, universities, research institutes, and hospitals throughout the United States. As of March 1, 2021, 46 active multi-year research grants for a total of $27 million are currently being funded specific to childhood cancer.
