Each week, families, travelers, and friends of Sedona gather at The Castle to share in an array of abundance. Your donations will help gather and share these much needed resources by helping pay the ongoing cost of rent, utilities, and allowing coordinators and volunteers to gather needed resources around Sedona. Our gathering place is family friendly, unconditionally welcoming everyone to create
community through compassionate sharing. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday we have open gatherings. Free clothing, body care products, household supplies, camping gear and healthy food are available. We also have books, instruments, art supplies, a projector, games to play and more. People are often playing music, swinging on travelling rings, having philosophical conversations, resting on the couches, and trying on clothes. Most nights there are children playing with each other and the adults, swinging on the aerial silks, and making art on the foam padded floor. These nights are a great time to connect with locals and travelers alike and enjoy the open atmosphere of The Castle. Sunday nights alternate between open mic night and art night. On Monday nights we listen to channeled transmissions from Bashar. Wednesday nights are focused on discussion/planning about practical regenerative agriculture initiatives, such as composting, water harvesting, food forestry, etc. Plus, on Fridays we occasionally have community dance parties! Space is also available for donation based classes and workshops. Maybe you have something you would like to share through the castle
We have many community members and a number of businesses who help support the castle in a variety of ways by donating food, clothing and other items needed. As more people have found out about the castle, more donations come in each week. We have special arrangements with businesses like local thrift stores to receive items they cannot sell or they feel the castle could benefit from the most. We are currently focusing on sustainable development of The Castle. We are gathering together a down payment for land to create a community space focused on sustainability, permaculture, composting, land regeneration, natural building and alternative energy. We plan on offering resources such as food, compost, classes and workshops with the local community. It will be a place where people can come together to share, learn, grow, and have their needs met on all levels without compromising their integrity or well being. We are so grateful for all the support we’ve received from the community of Sedona and are so excited to see what we can create together!
