The LPL Deficiency Association was established in 2014 to help patients living with lipoprotein lipase deficiency obtain support for a unified community of patients, families and caregivers to share, network and learn. We provide the LPLD community with reliable and credible educational resources. We build awareness of the impact of LPLD on patients and their families. We advocate for the need for appropriate diagnosis, treatment and research. We connect the U.S. community with the international LPLD community.

The LPL Deficiency Association is a patient organization (established under the National Organization for Rare Disorders) that provides support, education, awareness, and access to services for patients of lipoprotein lipase deficiency (LPLD), their families, caregivers, and medical professionals.
