חסדי אפרת, יחד עם המחלקה לשרותים חברתיים של המועצה מועצה מקומית אפרת Efrat Municipality, גאים לציין שנה מוצלחת של שיתוף פעולה ביוזמה חדשה וחשובה.
בשנה שעברה השקנו תוכנית הכשרה חלוצית ליועצי הכוונה פיננסית – שנועדה לתת מענה לצורך משמעותי והולך וגדל בקהילה. תושבים רבים באפרת פונים למחלקה לשרותים חברתיים לקבלת סיוע, שם העובדים הסוציאליים מזהים לעיתים קרובות כי הכוונה פיננסית היא גורם מרכזי בסיוע למשפחות לחזור ליציבות ולהתקדם בביטחון.
למרות שחסדי אפרת נהנתה לאורך השנים מיועצים פיננסיים מתנדבים מסורים, הביקוש עלה על ההיצע. בתגובה לכך, פותחה התוכנית החדשה להכשרת קבוצה איכותית ומחויבת של תושבי אפרת, שכיום מעניקים ליווי ותמיכה ליחידים ולמשפחות בדרכם לרווחה כלכלית.
ההשפעה הייתה משמעותית ורחבת היקף.

Chasdei Efrat, together with the Moetza’s Social Services Department מועצה מקומית אפרת Efrat Municipality is proud to mark a successful year of working together on an important new initiative.

Last year, we launched a pioneering training program for financial guidance counselors—created to meet a critical and growing need within our community. Many Efrat residents turn to the "social services" office for support, where social workers often identify financial guidance as a key factor in helping families regain stability and move forward with confidence.

While Chasdei Efrat has long benefited from dedicated volunteer financial counselors, the demand has consistently exceeded what was available. In response, this new program was developed to train a committed and capable group of Efrat residents, who are now actively guiding and supporting individuals and families on their path to financial well-being.

The impact has been powerful and far-reaching.

קרן חסדי אפרת יוצאת במבצע מיוחד של "קמחא דפסחא" לזכר בני קדוש ז"ל.
ילדיו כתבו את הפסקה הבאה המסבירה את הקשר המיוחד של בני ז"ל לחסד בכלל ולקמחא דפסחא בפרט..
אבא שלנו, בני קדוש ז״ל, הקדיש את חייו לדאוג לאחרים – כקצין הביטחון של גוש עציון ומנהל מחלקת שפ"ע
באפרת, וכאדם שפשוט היה לו אכפת. במשך שנים רבות, לפני פסח, הוא היה דואג בשקט ובאהבה שלמשפחות
נזקקות לא יחסר דבר – אוסף תרומות, קונה מצרכים, ויחד איתנו- הילדים, היה אורז את הארגזים ומחלק אותםבצנעה ובכבודמאז שהוא איננו, אנחנו מנסים להמשיך בדרכו
השנה, אחרי כל מה שעברנו – כיחידים, כמשפחות, וכעם – יש לא מעט משפחות שמתקשות יותר מתמיד.
:ובמיוחד עכשיו אנחנו זוכרים מה אבא לימד אותנושאין חסד קטן מדישצריך לשים לב למי שסביבנוושנתינה, גם כשאנחנו עייפים ומותשים – היא מה שבונה קהילהחסדי אפרת עושים את זה בצורה מרגשת – עם כבוד, רגישות והמון מסירותזו ההזדמנות שלנו להמשיך את האור הזהלתמוך, לעזור, ולשמח משפחות לפני החגנשמח אם תפתחו את הלב ותתרמו – כל סכום עושה הבדליחד נוכל לשמח ולהעניק בכבוד למשפחות שזקוקות לכך לקראת פסח

Chasdei Efrat’s “Kimcha d’pischa” drive is in memory of Benny Kadosh, ז"ל.
His children have written the following paragraph that explains why it’s so meaningful to raise donations for “Kimcha d’pischa” in his memory.
Our father, Benny Kadosh ז״ל, spent his life watching over others as someone who simply
cared. He was involved in the development of Efrat and Gush Etzion-as the security officer and
director of the Shefa Department. For many years, before Pesach, he would quietly make sure
that families in need had everything they needed for the chag — collecting, packing, and
delivering food parcels with love and respect.
Since his passing, we’ve tried to walk in his footsteps.
This year, after all we’ve endured - as individuals, as families, as a nation - many are struggling
more than ever. And yet, now more than ever, we’re reminded of what our father believed:
That no act of kindness is too small.
That noticing someone in need is a responsibility.
That giving - even when we ourselves feel drained - is what builds a community.
Chasdei Efrat does this beautifully - supporting families in the most respectful, caring, and
dignified way.
This is our chance to carry that torch.
To uplift others.
To bring light into someone’s home this Pesach.

קהילת אפרת היקרה,
שוב הגיעה תקופה פסח והנקיון , ואנו יודעים שבשבועות הקרובים יובאו כמויות גדולות מאוד של בגדים שאינכם זקוקים להם עוד. ברצוננו להזכיר לכולם כי מחסן הבגדים אינו מרכז למחזור בגדים
אנו מבקשים מכם לתרום אך ורק בגדים במצב מצוין, נקיים וראויים ללבישה. לצערנו, איננו יכולים לקבל בגדים בלויים או מוכתמים. תרומות שאינן מתאימות לשימוש יוצרות עומס גדול ומיותר על המתנדבים שלנו, שמשקיעים שעות רבות במיון בגדים שאינם ראויים לשימוש. בנוסף, פינוי הבגדים הללו כרוך בעלויות כספיות גבוהות – כספים שראוי שיופנו לפעילות של חסד.
השנה אנו מנסים שוב לשפר את המצב. לצורך כך הוצב מיכל גדול בחניון של בית ליאורה, המיועד לבגדים במצב מצוין בלבד. כלי בית ניתן להמשיך להביא לנקודת האיסוף הרגילה.

Dear Community of Efrat:

It's that time of year again, and we know you'll be dropping off a crazy amount of unwanted clothing in the next few weeks. We would like to remind everyone that the Machsan Begadim is not a clothing recycling center. We strongly request that only clothing in excellent, wearable condition be donated. Worn or stained items cannot be accepted. Donations unsuitable for use creates a huge unnecessary burden on our volunteers, who spend hours sorting through clothes that cannot be used and costs a lot of money to cart away- money that should be used for chessed. This year we are trying again to improve the situation. A large container has been placed in the parking lot of Beit Leora for clothing in excellent condition only and please continue to drop off housewares in the regular drop off place.

What a great morning!! This week, we hosted a group of women, called the "Golden Girls", who volunteered in various gmachim in Beit Leora, packed special Purim packages that will be distributed in our weekly food packages and learned more about all the great gmachim in Beit Leora! It was a very special and meaningful morning. Thank you so much to all those who made it happen!!

איזו בוקר נפלא!! השבוע אירחנו קבוצה של נשים, שנקראת "הגולדן גירלס", שהתנדבו בגמחים שונים בבית לאורה, ארזו חבילות פורים מיוחדות שיופצו בחבילות המזון השבועיות שלנו ולמדו עוד על כל הגמחים הנהדרים שיש בבית לאורה! היה בוקר מאוד מיוחד ומשמעותי. תודה רבה לכל מי שעשה את זה אפשרי!!
