Meet Team USA 2027🇺🇸: Commis Tyler Higson

Raised in Boise, Idaho, Tyler has been working in kitchens since the age of fourteen. Long inspired by , Tyler decided to relocate to Napa Valley shortly after high school and continued his professional development at La Toque. Most recently, Tyler worked alongside as Chef de Partie at Michelin-starred , working for former Bocuse d’Or Team USA silver-medalist and current Assistant Coach . 👏

Now, Tyler brings that same dedication and drive to Team USA 2027 as he continues his journey on the . Follow along as the team prepares for the Bocuse d’Or Americas in New Orleans on July 26 and the Grand Finale in Lyon January 2027!

Meet Team USA 2027 🇺🇸: Head Chef Vincenzo Loseto

From fishing and clamming on the shores of Long Island to the kitchens of New York, London, and Napa, Vincenzo (“Vinny”) has been building toward this moment for years.

Raised in a big Italian family, Vinny learned early that great food starts with respect, for ingredients, and for the people around the table. From butcher shop to CIA grad, from NoMad and Eleven Madison Park to winning our Young Chef competition and going on to assist Team USA’s historic Bocuse d’Or gold medal run, every step shaped the chef he is today.

Now, with the discipline, heart, and a deep love for cooking, he’s stepping back onto the world stage as Head Chef for Team USA 2027.

We’re proud to have him representing our country 🇺🇸
