Encore Creativity for Older Adults

Encore Creativity for Older Adults is the nation's largest choral arts program for older adults.

Encore Creativity for Older Adults ensembles are non-auditioned - all you need is a love for singing and a desire to improve your physical, mental, and emotional health! Based in Maryland, Encore hosts singing groups all over the country. Encore's offerings include traditional choral ensembles, Encore ROCKS ensembles singing rock 'n' roll hits of the 50s and beyond, supplemental online music educa

tion with Encore University, and Sentimental Journey Singers, a therapeutic program that connects individuals with early- to mid-stage cognitive change and their care partners through song.

🎶🏛️ Encore's Philadelphia Music Camp Is Underway!

This week, singers from across the country have gathered in Philadelphia for five days of music, learning, and community. From rehearsals with conductor David Simmons to masterclasses on healthy singing, participants are diving into an immersive musical experience while exploring one of America's most historic cities.

Two exciting Encore University Masterclasses are coming this June!

On June 15, join Dr. Juan Rodriguez, PhD, MPH, MS, and Dr. Mary Ann East for an exploration of AARP's Global Council on Brain Health and the 6 Pillars of Brain Health. Discover practical, research-backed ways to support cognitive wellness and healthy aging.

Then on June 24, travel the world through rhythm with acclaimed percussionist Tom Teasley during Global Rhythms, an interactive masterclass featuring music, movement, storytelling, and improvisation inspired by global traditions.
