In mid-April, a group representing our association took part in the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Stories for a United EU” in Lecce, Italy! 🇮🇹✨

The project brought together young people from Italy, Greece, Poland and Slovakia, creating a space for intercultural dialogue and shared experiences.

During this 7-day project, participants explored storytelling as a powerful tool for dialogue, empathy, and inclusion in today’s diverse Europe. Through creative workshops, intercultural exchange, and collaborative activities, they shared their perspectives, reflected on identity and belonging, and discovered how stories can help break stereotypes and bring people closer together.

The project focused on strengthening communication and active listening skills, while also fostering empathy and deeper emotional understanding. Participants experimented with different forms of storytelling and learned how narratives can inspire positive change and promote inclusion in their communities.

The project was organized by ONDE - Officina Nuova Dimensione Europea, while our association took part as a partner organization.

It was an inspiring journey full of meaningful conversations, creativity, and international connections. 🌍💬

At the end of April, our team had the opportunity to take part in the youth project “Feed your Health, Culture and Sustainability” in Moclín, Granada (Spain)! 🇪🇸🍽️

Together with young people from 5 EU countries, we explored the topic of food from many perspectives during engaging non-formal learning sessions. We discovered traditional cuisines, worked in international teams to cook together, and learned more about nutrition and the environmental impact of what we eat.

One of the most creative outcomes of the project was designing and creating a unique handmade “story of the project”, a small illustrated book capturing everything we experienced and learned along the way. 📖✨

Beyond the workshops, the project was also filled with intercultural exchange and connection through team-building activities, visits, hiking, and simply spending time together, getting to know each other and our cultures.

It was a truly enriching experience combining learning, creativity, and international friendship. 🌍💚

The project was made possible thanks to the cooperation with JENF.

Our project is slowly coming to an end, and today marks the final day of our “Green Vibe” journey. 🌿✨

It’s time to reflect on everything we’ve experienced together—summarizing our workshops and activities, sharing feedback, and taking part in the final evaluation of the project.

We’re also coming together for a creative brainstorming session, generating ideas for future initiatives and new projects that can continue making a positive impact on our communities and the environment.

To officially close this incredible experience, we will also celebrate the participants’ achievements with the Youthpass certificate ceremony. 🎓

It’s been an inspiring journey full of learning, collaboration, and meaningful connections—and even though it’s the last day, it’s definitely not the end of what we’ve started here. 💚

Over the last two days, we had the opportunity to connect with local communities by visiting two schools in Campina and Valea Doftanei – Liceul Tehnologic Energetic from Campina and Liceul Tehnologic “Carol I” from Valea Doftanei. 🏫🌍

In both schools, we co-created interactive workshops together with students, engaging in meaningful and in-depth discussions about climate challenges and the environmental situation in the region. We worked together to reflect on these issues from a broader European perspective, comparing local realities with solutions and practices implemented in our own communities.

What made these meetings especially valuable was the active involvement of students, their openness to dialogue, and their willingness to share their own ideas and experiences. Together, we explored not only the problems, but also practical actions that young people can take in their everyday lives to make a difference.

These exchanges showed us how powerful international cooperation can be and how much we can learn from each other. 🌱✨

Yesterday we spent an inspiring day in Bucharest! 🇷🇴✨

The highlight of the day was our visit to Ateliere Fara Frontiere, where we had the opportunity to explore their workshops and learn more about their impactful work.

We were introduced to the basics of the circular economy and took part in an engaging workshop focused on the collection, refurbishment, and reuse of electronic devices. It was a great chance to better understand how extending the life cycle of electronics can reduce waste and support communities.

Ateliere Fara Frontiere is a social enterprise that combines environmental action with social inclusion. The organization works on reducing waste by repairing and reintroducing electronic equipment into use, while also creating job opportunities for people at risk of social exclusion. Their initiatives support schools and NGOs by providing them with refurbished devices, making both environmental and social impact.

We’ve already completed nearly two more days of activities! 🌍💚

We’ve fully immersed ourselves in the topic of today’s environmental challenges, diving deep into discussions, sharing perspectives, and learning from one another.

Participants have been actively exchanging insights about the situation in their home countries, highlighting specific environmental issues and challenges faced in their local communities. It’s been an inspiring and eye-opening experience to see how diverse yet interconnected our realities are.

There’s so much more ahead of us, stay tuned! 🌱

Yesterday we officially kicked off our youth exchange “Green Vibe” in Traisteni, Romania! 🌿

This project focuses on today’s environmental challenges and brings together young people from Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Italy to learn, share, and take action together.

The project is coordinated by our long-term partner Asociatia TogetherRomania and is made possible thanks to the support of the Erasmus+ programme.

Stay tuned and follow our profile, we’ll be sharing many updates soon about the project, its themes, and our journey! Ahead of us are plenty of exciting activities: not only workshops, but also meetings with local youth in schools in Campina and Traisteni, as well as a visit to Bucharest. There, we’ll explore a center dedicated to recovering and repairing computers and mobile devices, which are later donated to schools and public benefit organizations.

More coming soon! 💚

Final Day – Closing our visual journey! 🎨✨

This day marks the official end of our “Visual Tools for Social Inclusion” project, a transformative journey through visual thinking and graphic facilitation in the context of youth work and non-formal education 🌍🖍️

On this last day, we wrapped up everything we’ve learned: from the foundations of visual communication to creative tools that help us engage young people more effectively. Together, we reflected on our progress, evaluated each stage of the project and summarized the skills and experiences gained throughout the training 💡🤝

We also worked on new project ideas, planned our follow-up activities and finalized our strategy for sharing and promoting the project’s results within our organisations and local communities 🌈📢

And of course, no final day would be complete without the official moment of celebration: awarding the Youthpass certificates to all participants 🎓🎉

Although the training ends here, the impact continues. Now it’s time to bring these tools, methods and inspirations into our daily work with young people.

“Visual Tools for Social Inclusion” is a training course designed to equip youth workers with essential skills in visual thinking and graphic facilitation. Blending creativity, language & technology in visual thinking! 🎨🤖✨

As our “Visual Tools for Social Inclusion” training moves into its final days, we’re reflecting on an incredible journey through the practical dimensions of visual thinking and graphic facilitation in youth work and non-formal education 🌍💡

Over the last sessions, participants explored the 8th element of visual thinking — developing their own individual visual vocabulary. Just like a spoken language, this unique set of symbols, drawings, and visual metaphors helps facilitators communicate ideas, emotions, and meaning in simple, engaging, and inclusive ways 💬➡️🖼️

At the same time, we stepped into the digital world, experimenting with AI-based tools for creating effective visual materials. Participants discovered their potential, tested their practical use, and discussed both opportunities and limitations 🧠💻

This blend of creativity, personal expression, critical thinking, and technology adds a powerful new layer to our growth as visual thinkers — enhancing how we communicate, collaborate, and tell stories in youth work 🚀🖍️

Our “Visual Tools for Social Inclusion” training is gaining momentum! Today we’ve entered the world of visual thinking methodology — exploring how visuals can help us communicate ideas, emotions and context more effectively 🎨🧠

We also tackled one of the most important (and sometimes challenging!) parts of the process: overcoming the fear of drawing ✏️💪 Because visual thinking isn’t about artistic talent — it’s about clarity, connection and creativity!

Together, we’re learning how to ensure that the messages and visuals we create are truly understood by the groups and participants we’ll work with as future visual thinkers and facilitators 🌈✨
