Meet 901 POP Star Brittany Hein! 🌟

Brittany is one of our talented note-writers, regularly providing beautiful, custom note cards to accompany arrangements for 901 POP recipients. She most recently created masterpieces for breast cancer warriors. 💌

“I started volunteering with 901 POP after receiving a 901 POP bouquet of my own! One month into my new job last year, my organization and staff were the recipients of 901 POP bouquets. I have always loved hand-lettering and doodling, and when I saw the opportunity to become a note-writer I thought it was a great way to donate my time and talents.”

Do you have a favorite memory from your time volunteering with 901 POP? “Since I am a note-writer, I love seeing the social media posts from 901 POP to connect the lovely flowers folks donated with the messages on the cards we write to go along with them! And always a bonus when I see my note-cards in the post!”

Why would you invite others to volunteer with 901 POP? “How can you not want to support an organization, who in my eyes is just out here trying to make the world and people’s days brighter one bouquet at a time! Whether it’s donating supplies or money, or your time and talents - it’s so easy to get involved, and I love that there is tangible JOY that can be shared in the Mid-South!”

Our Breast Cancer Bouquet Giveaway is less than a week away!

Sunday, October 25, 3 to 5 pm. 🌸

One in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. And while we focus on the pretty of pink in October, we realize that there is nothing pretty about this dreadful disease.

But what is pretty is the power of community. We want the breast cancer fighters in ours to know that they don’t face the battle alone. And for the survivors who reflect on their past journeys, we want them to remember that their strength can inspire others.

Yesterday we delivered floral arrangements with hand-written notes to Baptist, Fertility Associates of Memphis, and Pollan Paving. We are so grateful that they are joining us to support breast cancer warriors this year.

Yesterday was FULL of flowers and fun! 💐

A big THANK YOU and congratulations, too 💍 🎉 🤍 to MacKenzie and John who donated their wedding florals to !

Volunteers arranged and delivered beautiful bouquets and handwritten notes to the residents and staff in assisted living and memory care at Trezevant. 💜

And we had so many beauties that our deliveries continued today…more pretty pics to share soon! 💕

Our petals have a purpose.🩷

This October, 901 POP celebrates the strength, courage and resilience of breast cancer warriors in our community.

If you are a breast cancer warrior—or know someone who is—we invite you to reserve a complimentary bouquet, lovingly created by 901 POP volunteers. We hope these blooms bring a little joy and serve as a reminder that you are surrounded by a community that cares.

And while we’re purposeful about pink this month, don’t forget to schedule your mammogram. About 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, and early detection can save lives.
