ReFrame Ministries is the new name of Back to God Ministries International.

Relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we create contextual media resources that proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and strengthen the church throughout the world. We proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world, using a variety of media to communicate Christ in the “heart language” of those in need.

Building on ReFrame’s Japanese ministry—which began in 1978, with Rev. Masao Yamash*ta faithfully carrying it forward since 1998—the work in Japan enters its next chapter as Rev. Keisuke Sakai takes on the role of leading our Japanese media ministry!

We're grateful Rev. Darrell could be in Japan this week to stand alongside Rev. Keisuke and take part in the leadership ceremony. After spending meaningful time with Rev. Keisuke at our ministry leaders' retreat last year, we are delighted to have him join our team and thank God for preparing him for media ministry.

We give thanks for Rev. Masao's nearly 30 years of faithful service as he prepares to retire in January 2027, and look forward to sharing more at a later date!

While those of us in Western communities often associate gratitude with abundance, comfort, and peace, our persecuted brothers and sisters demonstrate a profound gratitude: being thankful for Christ's presence even when uprooted, isolated, or silenced.

Over this series, we’ll first highlight the reality of persecution in East Asia, West Africa, and South Asia—followed by personal stories of how God is moving in the field.

Will you partner with us to support proclaiming the gospel in highly persecuted areas around the world? 🌍

What work does Resonate do? Kevin shares a little bit about how we're stepping into a bigger story as a denomination.

Last month, we had the opportunity to film a conversation between Kevin, director of Resonate Global Mission, and Darrell, director of ReFrame Ministries. They were able to learn about the similarities and differences between our two ministries while also share about Kevin's September devotional series on resonance.

Today across Canada, families are gathering to give thanks. As a team, we pause and give thanks to God for his constant provision—and for our community and partners across Canada.

True gratitude isn't rooted in comfortable circumstances, but in an unchanging God. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing updates from our language ministries—highlighting brothers and sisters who choose thanksgiving and gratitude even in the midst of extreme persecution.

It is our deepest hope that our work today will inspire new believers tomorrow, long after we are gone. Together, we form one global family with a single message of hope in Jesus. And this work is only possible because of partners like you. With your continued partnership, we will keep sharing God’s Word here and beyond. And that's why ReFrame matters.
