What a great evening we had with our speaker, Simon Booker, a local wildlife photographer.
His passion and enthusiasm for the local wildlife was incredible, as was his stories which brought his stunning photos and videos to life. Thank you Simon, for such an uplifting and informative evening.

A big thank you also to everyone who attended.

With the darker evenings about to start, WAGS have two events organised that I'm sure you'll be keen to attend.

Simon Booker is a fantastic local wildlife photographer and has a reputation as being a very entertaining public speaker. It would be great to have a full hall, so please bring friends and neighbours. All we ask is that you book your free tickets.

SHOW CANCELLED

The WAGS committee have made the very hard decision to cancel the show on Saturday.

I'm sure this is a disappointment to you, as it is to us. Unfortunately, we don't have the number of entries needed.

Thank you for taking the time to read the schedule, sort your entries and complete the form. We really are sorry to disappoint you.

Thank you to those of you who came to Braziers Park on Tuesday evening – a great turn out. What an interesting evening we had. Sarah (Head Gardener) gave us a tour of their horse-shoe walled garden. It was full of fruit trees and huge plots of a very wide range of vegetables, not to mention the numerous varieties of tomatoes and aubergines in the greenhouse and polytunnel. We heard about their ‘No dig’ experiment, the Victorian underground water tanks… and their growing successes and failures! I think we all probably took home a few ideas for our own gardens and allotments.
