🌿 This June, our parents' group came together in Leeds for a weekend of connection, support, and shared experiences, including a terrarium making workshop with Green and Grounded While creating their own miniature ecosystems, parents enjoyed time to connect with others who truly understand, find support, and build meaningful peer relationships. A lovely afternoon of mindfulness, creativity, and community. 💚

“A sea of blue, united they ride, In memory, in honour, side by side”

In May, COPS Trustee Rob Atkin attended National Police Week in the USA, standing in honour and remembrance alongside US law enforcement colleagues.

As Vice President of the UK Police Unity Tour, Rob is part of a dedicated community of riders putting in the miles, early mornings and long training rides all with one purpose: to remember those who died and support those left behind.

In just a few short weeks’ time, on 9th August, riders from across the country will come together at the National Memorial Arboretum in remembrance, raising funds and awareness for Care of Police Survivors (COPS).

Every mile ridden is a tribute.
A commitment.
A promise that the families of fallen officers will never face their journey alone.

Survivors Luci Boardman and Sarah Everitt, Survivor Trustee, kindly volunteered to represent the charity, helping to raise awareness of the support available to families following the death of a police officer or staff member on duty.

Working in partnership is vital to improving support for bereaved families, and we’re proud to be part of these important conversations.
