Signing off as your Miss Cowley County 2026 🥹🤍

I want to begin by saying what an incredible honor it has been to represent Cowley County, the place I have proudly called home my entire life!

To my director and the local board, thank you for the countless hours you volunteer, the encouragement, and the belief you placed in me from day 1!
•
To the state board, thank you for continuing a tradition that empowers and uplifts women!
•
To every sponsor who supported me, thank you for investing in this program and in the young women who proudly represent our communities!
•
Most importantly to my friends, family, supporters near and far… THANK YOU beyond words! Over the last eight months, your messages, prayers, donations, encouragement, and unwavering belief in me carried me through every moment!

I am incredibly blessed to have been named a semifinalist at Miss Kansas this year while wearing Cowley County across my sash!
•
While I did not walk away with the crown, I gained something far greater… I challenged myself in new ways, discovered a deeper confidence in what I am capable of accomplishing, developed skills that will serve me for a lifetime, and formed friendships with remarkable women (love my sister queens)!
•
I built connections with wonderful organizations and had the privilege of meeting so many young girls who looked at the sparkly thing on my head with wonder in their eyes! My greatest hope is that they see themselves capable of shining just as brightly!

This experience reminded me that titles may have an ending date, but service does not! While I will never be Miss Cowley County again, I will forever be Layna, as a proud advocate, volunteer, and mentor!
