As Girl UpRising’s mentee, Soul’eece, prepares to begin her college journey, I encouraged her to gain hands-on experience through an internship or shadowing opportunity. After doing our research, we connected with Bloom Interiors and they welcomed her with open arms.
A heartfelt thank you to Erika for saying “yes” without hesitation. From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and intentional about creating a meaningful learning experience. She generously shared her time, knowledge, and expertise, while making sure Soul’eece felt supported throughout her shadowing sessions. Opportunities like this leave a lasting impact.
I’m also incredibly proud of my mentee for staying committed to her personal and professional growth. She continues to say “yes” to new experiences, build her résumé, and invest in her future...and that’s something worth celebrating.
