AgriYouth Hamilton aims to provide high school-aged youth in Hamilton with coordinated opportunities for learning in urban agriculture. This will be accomplished via a hybrid model with a focus on online modules and workshops on food systems and urban agriculture, and volunteer work in gardens throughout the city. At AgriYouth Hamilton, we are dedicated to facilitating meaningful, self-directed opportunities that empower high school aged youth to become leaders in our local food systems. We are led by a small group of people from a variety of backgrounds. We are working to partner with individuals and organizations in the community to build a strong, dedicated network of people who think we can do better - for our youth and our planet. Email [email protected] if you'd like to get involved in some way. Made possible by Youth Challenge International and the Community Service Grant.
