The main objective of this organization is to promote and protect the rights, interests and entitlements of the DeafBlind people. The objecives of the organization :
1. Policy Intervention: Work and collaboration to make all policies and programs of government accessible to acquired DeafBlind people.
2. Better Diagnosis: Identify the people with acquired DeafBlindness by proper assessment of vi
sion and hearing do they will be the holders of proper ID cards with no descrimination.
3. Promote accessibility in communication: Work to promote accessible communication like tactile sign language, haptic signal, fi*****ng braille, large print. Supply with hearing aids, white cans, braille devices.
4. Network Development: Work to establish network group of people with acquired DeafBlindness in different districts.
5. Mainstreaming and inclusive : Work to improve mainstreaming and inclusive of persons with acquired DeafBlindness. Activies :
Identify new persons with acquired DeafBlindness in new districts. Diagnose with vision and hearing assessment . Training board members on ICT for better access in communication. Training on Haptic signals, tactile communication, fi*****ng braille. Advocate for rights of persons with acquired DeafBlindness in policy making for development of information materials about acqured DeafBlindness through local electronic media. advocate for rights of persons with acquired DeafBlindness in policy making for government. Awarness for persons with acquired DB on public people. Advocate to access education environment for acquired DeafBlind children. Training on capacity building , leadership, empowerment etc for acquired DeafBlindness members.
