PENNSYLVANIA BUSINESS WEEK
In 1999, ACES added Pennsylvania Business Week (PBW) to its list of economic education programs. It's an intense one-week, in-school program that teaches high school students about the American economic system, as well as extremely important business concepts and principles. ACES is proud to have been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Deve

lopment as an approved Educational Improvement Organization. Therefore, contributions to Pennsylvania Business Week may qualify for Educational Improvement Tax Credits

Please join us in welcoming Caleigh Pecorella to the ACES team as our new Programs Manager! 🎉

Caleigh is no stranger to ACES. As a graduate of Girard School District, she participated in our PA Business Week program, where she not only embraced the experience, but also excelled as a member of a winning team!

Caleigh has already impressed us with her maturity, professionalism, and ability to quickly learn new skills. Her positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges will make her a tremendous asset to ACES.

We are excited to have a former PA Business Week participant and winner come full circle and join the ACES team. We know she will be a tremendous asset to our organization, our schools, and the students we serve.

đź’™ Please help us give Caleigh a warm ACES welcome in the comments below!

What a way to close out the final practice day of the 2025-2026 ACES school year! 🎉

Today marked the last day of preparation before tomorrow’s FULL day of competitions, and awards as students from Cambridge Springs Jr/Sr High School, Maplewood Jr/Sr High School, and Saegertown Jr/Sr High School get ready to battle it out for the championship trophy! 🏆

We were excited to welcome our final guest speaker of the week, Lee Marzka from Mcinnes Rolled Rings, who spoke with students about careers in manufacturing and the hireable habits they already possess that will help them succeed long after Business Week ends.

Tonight, students from all three schools stayed late practicing presentations, perfecting their ideas, and making final preparations for tomorrow’s big competition day. To celebrate all the hard work they’ve put in this week, we wrapped up the evening with a pizza party! 🍕

This week has been especially exciting for ACES because it marked our FIRST EVER school-vs-school Business Week competition — and what an incredible way to finish our final program of the 2025-2026 school year. The energy, teamwork, and dedication these students have shown over the last four days has been amazing to watch.

Tomorrow is the big day… presentations, awards, and one school taking home the trophy! Stay tuned to see who from PENNCREST School District comes out on top! 👏
