SONSHINE in My Soul

June 25, 2026

The summertime is here, and the SUN is shining brightly. But the SON is shining even brighter! Where and how is the SON shining?

Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, reminds Christians everywhere that the SON is still shining.

1. The SON is SHINING with HOPE! (1 Peter 1:3) - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

There's hope in Jesus!

2. The SON is SHINING with PEACE! (1 Peter 1:2) - "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied."

The peace of God, which money cannot buy and the world cannot give, is available through Jesus Christ.

3. The SON is SHINING with His PROTECTION! (1 Peter 1:5) - "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

A hedge of protection is greatly needed! Faith opens the door.

4. The SON is SHINING with His PERFECTING WORK! (1 Peter 1:6–7) - "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ."

He is still working on me! Through our trials and tests, He is perfecting us into His image.

The SON still shines! He is a bright light in a dark world.

Go light your world!

Reflect the SON.

Set Free in Christ

June 24, 2026

Introduction: Are you free? Really free? You say, "From what?" Are you free from the power of sin? Free from the penalty of sin? And one day, free from the presence of sin? Praise the Lord! In JESUS CHRIST, we are set FREE!

Jesus said, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). The truth is we cannot save ourselves. As Paul wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" (Titus 3:5-6).

Then and only then can we be SET FREE from the condemnation of God. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24).

Not only that, but JESUS also said, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" (John 8:36). Have you been SET FREE?

1. How can you be SET FREE? (John 3:36) - "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him".

The answer is by "believing." That word, like a two-sided coin, entails both repentance—a turning from sin, a change of direction—and a turning to JESUS as the perfect gift of eternal life. John writes, "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (1 John 5:11-12).

Besides that, Luke wrote concerning Paul's last words to the elders in Ephesus: "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." There you have it. JESUS SETS us FREE! Have you been set free? Then BLESS the Lord! PRAISE Him!! SERVE Him!!! LOVE Him!!!!

2. How do we become ADDICTED to sin? (John 8:34) - "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin".

We were born with a sin nature. In Ephesians 2:1-3, Paul wrote, speaking to believers: "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience... and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."

Let's face it. SIN is a powerful force. It takes hold of everyone, and until JESUS breaks the grip, it will dominate. Even then, it still tries to creep in and take control. Do you feel it? However, as we appropriate the SPIRIT-filled life by taking our place in the Cross while yielding to the living Christ who dwells in us, then we are able to break FREE from sin's ruling power! Hallelujah!!

Paul wrote how this works in Romans 6, 7, and 8. PLEASE take time to read this.

3. How can a person DIE in their sins but be SET FREE in CHRIST alone? - "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins".

Since death is appointed unto all men, we need to be prepared to die. But make no mistake about it. We are NOT prepared to die until first we have put our faith and trust in the redeeming blood of the only ONE who overcame death, that is JESUS CHRIST. Why? Because He lived without sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). Therefore, He could become sin. And in doing so, He could pay the price for our sins!

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

After all, according to the Bible, "all have sinned" (Romans 3:10-23). Bottom line: Either we pay for the penalty of our sins, which is to be sentenced to the lake of fire forever (Revelation 20:11-15), or we lay our sins on the sacrificial, substitutionary death of the Lamb of God, "which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). Are you FREE?

In the light of this devotion, where do you stand? Do you need to be SET FREE? Ask JESUS to SET you FREE.

A Father’s Blessing

June 23, 2026

Christian fathers are a blessing! I miss my dad. Do you? He was an encourager who set a godly example. Do you remember the good memories of your earthly father? Hopefully there are many. If you do not remember any, then you can recall the great promises of your Heavenly Father. Speaking of followers of Jesus Christ, here are a few Scripture verses that should be a blessing to every father.

1. A Godly Father’s Walk of Integrity (Proverbs 20:7) - “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.”

Please notice that the Bible does not speak of a “perfect man,” but a “just man.” The word “just” (tsad-deek') means just, lawful, or righteous. By the way, the word “integrity” has to do with integrity of mind. To take it a step further, it involves financial integrity, moral integrity, and relational integrity. Are you a person of integrity? Do you need some improvement in that area?

2. A Godly Father’s Walk in Truth (Psalm 1:1–6) - “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

Did you happen to pick up on the “walk of truth”? That seems to suggest that there can also be a “walk of error.” Which one is leading you? When you answer that question, please be honest. After all, our “walk” is really our “witness”!

3. A Godly Father’s Walk in the Fear of God (Psalm 112:1–2) - “Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.”

What about it? It starts with the fear of the Lord. Next on the heels of the fear of the Lord is obedience. Obedience is the result of simple childlike faith. Can you say that you fully trust Him?

4. A Godly Father’s Walk of Glory (Proverbs 17:6) - “Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.”

What a great verse of Scripture! Earthly fathers who follow our Heavenly Father through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ are empowered by the Holy Spirit of God. That, in turn, reflects the glory of God as visible evidence of a living Lord.

If you have a godly father, you need to praise the Lord! Even if you do not have a godly father, you need to pray for your father. Spiritual fathers are a blessing! Go be a blessing!!

How Are You Going to Be Remembered?

June 22, 2026

What will people say about you when you are gone? Will it be, "Gone but not forgotten"? Or will your memories fade away like the fog?

Truthfully, we are building our legacy right now. For some, it is all about money. For others, it is material possessions. Still others are chasing careers while climbing the corporate ladder. For many, life centers around their immediate family.

However, the real question is, What is God's will for your life? How can you pass down a rich and godly heritage? This devotion will look at several Scripture passages that should help us examine, as well as alter, our lifestyle.

Set Your Priorities! (Matthew 22:37-38) - "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Did you get that? First things first. Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Can you honestly say that He is number one in your life? Really? Truthfully?

Do you put other things ahead of His will for your life? Do you give Him the best part of your day? Not only is your will surrendered to Him, but are your finances under His control or yours? Are you taking time every day to seek Him? Are His Word and His Church important to you?

Does your spiritual life have accountability? In other words, do you have someone who daily or weekly holds you accountable for how you spend your time, money, and spiritual gifts? Be truthful. If not, why not?

Today, many Christians do not want accountability when it comes to serving and being faithful to the Body of Christ—His Church.

Right now, will you purpose in your heart to pursue greater spiritual accountability? This means surrounding yourself with mature followers of Jesus Christ, including those outside your immediate family. Often, family members avoid confronting us, choosing instead to go along with whatever we say or do.

Conclusion: After reading this devotion, where are you? Do you need improvement?

Please take a moment to pray for wisdom and grace to make the necessary changes. Then give God the glory!

Reflecting on Jesus Christ and His Church

June 19, 2026

Introduction: Like a mirror, the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Church can be seen in the relationship between a husband and a wife. But how, one may ask? Here are some similarities between the two. Using Paul's letter to the church of Ephesus, inspired by the Holy Ghost, we can clearly see the reflection.

1. The First Reflection is Sacrificial Love! (Ephesians 5:25-32) - "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself."

There you have it. Unconditional love is the admonition for husbands. After all, Jesus died for the Church. Reflecting Jesus Christ's love for the Church is the picture. By the way, the Church is not perfect, and neither will our wives be without blemishes. This is where making love deposits instead of bitter withdrawals can make or break a marriage.

2. The Second Reflection is Genuine Respect! (Ephesians 5:33) - "This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband."

While some wives may not feel that their husbands deserve respect, it is not a matter of deserving it (this does not include abuse); it is God's will. Showing respect and appreciation should motivate even the most stubborn husband. Having the blessings of God should be the motivation for both wives and husbands.

Conclusion: Isn't it interesting that in order to get a driver's license, you must pass a written test, but in order to get a marriage license, all you have to do is go down to the courthouse, pick it up, and pay for it?

Could that be one reason marriages today do not last?

When we let Jesus be both the foundation and the glue for our marriages, it makes all the difference in the world.

Prayer Time

June 18, 2026

Do you pray every day? Do you treasure your secret time with Jesus?

Besides your personal prayer time, do you intercede for others? Is prayer used only like a spare tire? Please develop a quiet time. Regardless of your schedule or demands, take some time to pray. Make some time to pray.

This is how we grow in our relationship with God—through prayer. Even though most all Christians know that, they still have not built that spiritual discipline into their life. Sadly, our emotions (flesh) will control our thoughts if we do not set prayer as a priority.

Do you feel close to God? If not, why not? Is there any unconfessed sin that you know of that may be hindering the PEACE of GOD?

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Get ready for a cram course on the subject of prayer.

When should we pray? All the time? Yes. The Word of God instructs us to pray without “ceasing.”

Why should we pray? Because it keeps us connected to our Heavenly Father. Do you ever feel disconnected? You can reconnect. All you have to do is turn toward JESUS with all of your heart.

“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:12-13)

Are you angry or bitter toward anyone? Have you been offended? Has Satan tempted you and you fallen? Do you desire to get back to your first love? (Revelation 2:1-7)

Has someone been a stumbling block in front of you?

Why not follow this pattern when you pray?

Thank God for His GOODNESS!
Praise JESUS for His GRACE!!
Ask the Holy Spirit to fill your mind and heart.
Purpose in your heart to yield and obey God.
Stop making excuses.
Start taking responsibility.
Decide to be a BLESSING.
Refuse to listen to gossip.
Ask the Lord to clear your schedule where He is #1.
Trust Him to show GRACE to others as He has to you.
Resist being prideful.
Avoid being a know-it-all.
Watch out for being argumentative.
Practice love.
Remember to be patient.
Show kindness.
Be compassionate.
Stay focused.
Run from sin.
Flee to JESUS.

Freedom in Heaven

June 17, 2026

Introduction: Do you ever think about heaven? What is heaven going to be like? Nothing on this earth really can compare to the glories of heaven. Catching a glimpse of heaven from the Bible should encourage every CHRISTian. In addition, the promises of heaven that await those who trust in Jesus should motivate us to live, love and serve our Lord until we get to that final destination. Think with me about FREEDOM in HEAVEN…

1. FREEDOM with a NEW BODY! (1 Cor. 15:42-49) - “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”

Think about it. A Brand New Body! Wow! No limitations. Instant Travel. Weather. Not too hot, not too cold, just right! Food. The Tree of Life. We will not need it, but my guess is, it is “heavenly fruit”!

2. FREEDOM by being Prepared now for what is to Come! (2 Cor. 4:16-18) - “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

We are preparing right now in God’s School of hard knocks! Compare the two: “Light afflictions”? “Weight of Glory”?

The word “affliction” is θλῖψις (thlip’-sis), which means persecution, affliction, distress, tribulation.

You say, “Pastor, is our Lord building us, ‘here below’ for our home, ‘up above’?” Exactly. That is SHOUTING ground!

3. FREEDOM of WORSHIP! (Rev. 4:1-11) - “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold…. The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Now that is true WORSHIP! Isn’t JESUS WORTH it?

4. FREEDOM from PAIN and SICKNESS! (Rev. 21:4) - “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

No more hospitals, funeral homes, or CVS in heaven. We will not need those needful places that are here on earth.

In heaven…

PAIN FREE
PARDON FREE
POLITICALLY FREE

No termites, TAXES, or troubles!

5. FREEDOM to SERVE JESUS Uninterrupted! (Rev. 22:1-4) - “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.”

Serving the One who gave His all for us, who has gone to prepare a place for us, will be satisfying along with rewarding.

Conclusion: Many more experiences could be mentioned about heaven. But for now, these ought to fill up your heart with JOY and ANTICIPATION! We are limited on this earth; however, in heaven we are going to see JESUS and all of our loved ones. Are you kinda getting homesick for heaven?

Knowledge Explosion: A World Out of Control

June 16, 2026

Who would have imagined, about 2,600 years ago, that there would come a time when there would be an explosion of information? Daniel the prophet wrote about such a time:

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” (Daniel 12:4)

Perhaps Daniel was describing the prophetic future, which has now become the foreseeable present.

With all the AI technological advancements, our world is changing at the blink of an eye. Who would have ever thought, years ago in the Flintstone era, that robots would be working in factories, serving in restaurants, and participating in sports? Today, unmanned vehicles are driving up and down our roads. At one time, this was unimaginable.

Think about it. The next time you are driving through Atlanta, navigating in and out of six lanes of traffic, there might just be an unmanned truck next to you! How does that make you feel?

AI has dramatically changed how wars are fought. Laser-guided bombs, drones, and even robotic soldiers have added a new dimension to military combat, to the point that it has become a race to see which country can design the latest and newest technologies. If this isn't scary, it should be. Why? Just let a terrorist or mentally deranged person get their hands on these devastating weapons under the direction of AI, which can even give instructions on how to build a bomb, and they could potentially do a lot of harm. Watch out!

This new discovery of AI means that there are more and more opportunities for AI use in ministry or even the church. Have you heard of AI Jesus? Millions of young people are flocking to seek advice from AI Jesus. Unfortunately, this is not the same Jesus of the Bible. Clearly, according to some of the prominent technocrats, man is on a quest to build a god. AI is becoming more and more god-like, and make no mistake about it, this is their goal according to their own admission. By the way, man has always wanted to be his own god.

This reminds one of the biblical account in Genesis with the building of the Tower of Babel. But even before that, Satan, disguised as the serpent, whispered to Eve:

“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:5)

Some ministries are using AI for administrative purposes, which, agreeably, can be a great time saver.

But sadly, even some pastors and teachers are relying upon AI for sermon preparation and preaching instead of being disciplined and diligent in spending adequate time in “studying to show thyself approved unto God, a workman... rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

Oh well! Can you tell the difference between a canned yet elegant AI speech versus a Spirit-led message? Probably so. Is it true that someone else—or something AI—is doing the work for them while they receive the credit? Is that right?

In the long run, Christian shortcuts and spiritual laziness will catch up. The results will be disappointing. Can you see it coming?

It appears that not only is our culture becoming more dependent upon robots, machines, and humanoids, but AI is also taking the church by storm.

Whereas AI has its usefulness, for example in the medical world, unfortunately it is concerning that there is a generation being programmed not to think or be creative with the mind God has given them. Howbeit, there are some bright minds being developed in this technocratic new world order.

Meanwhile, these signs of the times are indicators that Jesus will come again as He said. All you have to do is read your Bible.

So, keep looking up! Our redemption draws near.

Deeper Than Water

June 15, 2026

Introduction: Have you been baptized? Did you understand it? Do you know the meaning of baptism? Is it "Deeper than Water? Let's see.

1. Water Baptism is an "Outward Demonstration" of an "Inward Revelation"! (Rom. 6:1-5) - "......Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection."

What a biblical truth our Lord wants us to know! He has done it in Jesus! He is not asking for our opinion. He is telling us a heavenly FACT. But it must be appropriated by FAITH. Then comes the FRUIT.

2. Water Baptism is an "Outward Demonstration" of an Inward Appropriation"! (Rom. 6:6-11) - "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord."

This FACT of being co-crucified with Christ now leads to co resurrected with Jesus. However, the door is unlocked only by FAITH. The result of that is FRUIT!

3. Water Baptism is an "Outward Demonstration" of an "Inward Manifestation" (Rom. 6:12-13) - "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God."

Great FRUIT bursts forth because of FAITH in the FACT. All of this process is experienced in baptism.

Conclusion: Now we see. Baptism is DEEPER than WATER! Did you discover Baptism pictures the CHRISTian's Victory over the dominion of sin? Wow!

The Power of Praise

June 12, 2026

Introduction: When you are facing an enemy, do you praise the Lord? Or do you try to fight a flesh-and-blood battle? Good King Jehoshaphat learned the principle of just how amazing praising God can be! Try it—you'll like it!

1. What do you do when the enemy attacks? (2 Chronicles 20:1-2) - “It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.”

Our infernal enemy attacks relentlessly. Therefore, we need to seek the Lord continually.

2. Do you remain fearful? (2 Chronicles 20:3-4) - “And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.

Fearful? Yes. But prayerful as well! Should we make it a practice to seek the Lord? Do you? Will you now?

Choice: Fear or Faith?

3. Will you exercise faith in the Lord? (2 Chronicles 20:12-13) - “O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.”

Notice the confirmation of answered prayer:

“Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah... came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation; And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.” (2 Chronicles 20:14-15)

Aren't you glad to know that our Lord will always execute perfect justice, whether we see it in this life or in the life to come?

4. Does our Lord keep His promises as we seek Him and His will? (2 Chronicles 20:17) - “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.”

1 + God = Majority

5. Will our Lord bring vengeance upon His enemies? (2 Chronicles 20:21-22) - “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”

Payday someday.

6. What should our response be when our Lord answers prayer? (2 Chronicles 20:27-28) - “Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies. And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the LORD.”

You can't help but praise the Lord! He deserves it!

Conclusion: There is power in praise! From this biblical account, we can deduce that our great God, Jesus Christ, honors and rewards those who diligently seek Him.
