Special Thanks to for inviting us out to represent the LGBTQIA+ community at Hope Beyond the Haze.

It was an incredibly informative and wonderful event! Prism made tons of connections and new friends.

But most importantly we were able to bring that Hope to many of our LGBTQIA+ siblings providing our website information and access to our knowledge and resources. It was an honour representing our community.

Spanish interpretation will be available at both events.
Information materials, snacks, and light refreshments will be provided.

Our vision is to create a community where every individual, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, feels valued and included.

Support- We aim to provide comprehensive support systems that address the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community
Empowerment- Empowerment is at the heart of our mission. We believe in equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to advocate for themselves and others.
Respect- Respect is fundamental to our vision. We are committed to promoting understanding and acceptance within our community and beyond. By raising awareness and challenging stereotypes, we work towards a society where all LGBTQIA+ individuals are treated with dignity.

At Prism, we believe that a supported, empowered, and respected LGBTQIA+ community is not just a vision but a tangible goal that we are dedicated to achieving. Together, with the support of our allies and partners, we can create a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone in North Harris and Montgomery County.

Hello! We're Prism Outreach! We've been inactive for a while and now have a new team on board, so we wanted to reintroduce ourselves and share some exciting updates. For those who are new here, we are a dedicated local non-profit organization committed to supporting and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community in North Harris and Montgomery County.

Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for individuals of all backgrounds within the LGBTQIA+ community. We are passionate about fostering a sense of unity, promoting understanding, and offering resources that cater to the unique needs of our members.

Exciting things are on the horizon, including a podcast (Refract’d), a blog (Reflect’d), and The Lighthouse LGBTQ+ Resource Center, a collaborative effort with Plymouth UCC that will offer educational talks, group therapy sessions, a small library, and more!

We are committed to keeping our community informed and engaged, so be sure to follow us to stay updated on our events and initiatives! We value your input and collaboration, so if you have any questions, ideas, or are a fellow non-profit interested in working together, please don't hesitate to send us a direct message. Together, we can create a stronger, more supportive community.

We are giving out Narcan for free!! Narcan is an extremely useful emergency medication to reduce the effects of an opioid overdose. This medication saves thousands of lives and is very easy to administer. Please DM us here, email us at [email protected] , or visit our resource center at 5927 Louetta Rd in Spring for more info!! Today we stand in quiet mourning for our Trans Family who have been taken from this world.

Whether through hate, hurt, or through self harm. We mourn their hearts and their minds. We take up space for them and we stand united to preserve their voice.

While today is difficult we ask that if such an event is overwhelming for anyone who sees this... Please take the day to rest. Remember to give yourself space to feel, you are loved, you are worthy, we are with you all.
