Through June 15: Terapia FLORAL II (Floral Therapy II), Galeria Cubana

Galería Cubana is excited to open Kelvin López’s first solo exhibition in Provincetown. The renowned Havana- based artist has dedicated many years to his Floral therapy series. Through the deliberate presentation of pure, untamed beauty and absolute peace, his work is a conceptual resistance to the hardships that often exist in Cuba.

Did you know Provincetown has its own printmaking tradition? The white-line woodblock print was born right here in the early 1900s, and Julie Gray is one of the artists keeping it alive today. Her solo show at Ali Gray Gallery pairs those signature prints with a new collection of oil paintings, and together they're a gorgeous reminder of what makes this place so special artistically.

Provincetown has long been a mecca for culture and art, and Berta Walker Gallery is a perfect example of why. With a rich and varied spring lineup on view now through June 13, there's still time to experience it for yourself.

Budd Hopkins: Inspirer celebrates the artist's lasting influence through collages and paintings. OutsidersIN brings together three solo shows featuring watercolors by Michael Andrews, paintings by Deb Mell, and mixed media drawings by R.S. Steinberg, with each artist donating proceeds to a cause close to their heart.

Also on view are two group exhibitions featuring an impressive roster of artists across Outsider art, African sculpture, and more.

Four Eleven Gallery is kicking off their season with works by Jenny Humphreys and Jay McDermott. Jenny has been with the gallery for several years and Jay is a newer face at Four Eleven. Both are local Provincetown painters. Both artists explore wild imagery, welling from the unconscious. Both demonstrate a love of color and complex compositions. We're excited to see them paired and find unexpected delights in their juxtaposition!
