Congratulations to our fellow Angat Cembo volunteers who received awards during the Gabi ng Parangal: Gawad ng Natatangi. An event honoring the talent and achievements of our barangayโ€™s youth, hosted by the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Cembo last August 29 at Narra Extension.

Nais lang po naming magbigay-linaw tungkol sa aming donation drive. Ang ๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™–๐™ฉ ๐˜พ๐™š๐™ข๐™—๐™ค ay patuloy na nagsusumikap na maipamahagi ang tulong sa mga pamilyang tunay na nangangailangan, base sa maayos na alituntunin at sa mga donasyong aming natatanggap. Hangad po namin na mas marami pa ang matulungan, nang walang pinipili o pinapaboran.

Sa ngayon, ang mga donasyon ay inoorganisa at pinag-uuri muna sa aming opisina upang masigurong maibibigay nang maayos at tama sa mga apektadong pamilya.

Nais din po naming ipaalam na ang lahat ng donasyon ay direktang napupunta lamang sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan. Hindi po ito ginagamit sa ibang bagay. At hindi rin po namin ginagamit ang sitwasyon ng mga apektadong pamilya para mangalap pa ng pondo o donasyon.

Naiintindihan po namin kung may mga katanungan o alinlangan, lalo na sa pagpili ng mga benepisyaryo. Pero makakaasa po kayo na ginagawa namin ang lahat nang patas, maayos, at may malasakit.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong tiwala, suporta, at patuloy na pagtulong sa ating kapwa. ๐Ÿค

Today, April 9, we mark the 84th anniversary of the Fall of Bataan. Now remembered as ๐—”๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜„ ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ป. This day honors the bravery of Filipinos who stood their ground and fought for our freedom.

Originally called ๐˜‰๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ข๐˜ฏ ๐˜‹๐˜ข๐˜บ, it was renamed in 1987 to celebrate not just the defenders of Bataan, but the valor of all Filipinos who sacrificed for our nation. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโœจ

Yesterday, Angat Cembo prepared and distributed free lunch to the families affected by the Tanguile fire incident at Caimito Covered Court.

As part of our ongoing relief efforts, we continue to accept donations. At present, the victims are in greatest need of the following items:

This decision was made in deference to the victims of the recent fire incident that has deeply affected many families in our community. In this time of loss and hardship, we believe it is more appropriate to pause and stand in solidarity with those impacted.

In place of the event, we will be redirecting our efforts to provide food and assistance to those impacted.
