🚨5-6 more volunteers needed for Saturday🚨

Would you like to be part of a happy ending? No prior experience required! ChainFree is taking on our largest fence build yet. We will be building two fences for TEN dogs in Bean Station this Saturday at 9:30 AM. We know it’s a bit of a drive from Knoxville, but we could use some more helping hands. Please comment or send us a PM if you’d like to sign up!

Okay, okay we are ChainFree and as you all know we help people take care of chained/tethered dogs. HOWEVER, how could we not help sweet Crimson?!

Crimson was at the house in Bean Station (first pic) we have been working with since last Summer/Fall. We have gotten 4 litters of puppies pulled into rescue and shelters, 5 adult dogs pulled, and now it was Crimson’s turn for his happy ever after!!

Our star volunteer Terry reached out to over two hours away, and they answered our request! They said no pig left behind, and drove to get sweet (and rather large) Crimson in a horse trailer. Look how happy he is eating munchies in his new home 🥰.

Thank you to our awesome friends for giving Crimson an amazing new life full of love (and snax).

Happy tails, Crimson! 🐷

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mama’s out there! Meet mother daughter duo, Roxie and Kilo! We were so happy to be able to build these sweet girls a fence so they can play together.
Roxie and Kilo were both spayed through our program- so no more oops litters contributing to the overpopulation of pets. This is a huge part of our program, and a requirement for dogs to receive a fence. No more babies for Roxie and no babies ever for Kilo! Special thanks to Animal Services for helping transport these girls for their spay appointments.
A big thank you to our volunteers and donors who made this build pawsible!
Happy Tails, Roxie and Kilo! 🐾🐾

Thank you for the kind words, Inside of Knoxville!

Wow. What an amazing night we had Saturday with so many lovely people in our community. Your support and generosity far exceeded our expectations for our very first ChainFree Ball!

A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Tim's Fencing for making this evening possible. We could not have done this without the help of Ken Knight and Crowne Plaza Knoxville.

Special thanks to our other sponsors Pittman Properties, Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee, Carmen Trammell with GoNorth Animal Transport Collaborative, Chelly & Kevin Clayton, Yachts360, Mountain Commerce Bank, Royal Bark Social Club, Sallie & Tom Namey, and Tyler Janow & Anthony Wilson, other generous table sponsors and of course everyone who attended.

A big thanks to all of our live auction donors! Some epic donations were made that raised a good bit of funding for ChainFree 🐕🐾.

We are so thankful to insPYRE and the Men of Valor for elevating the night with their artwork made of chains from dogs who were previously tethered in our program. Jessica Weiss provided custom dog tags with 100% of proceeds benefiting ChainFree. You all really added a whole new element to the evening ⛓️‍💥

Our volunteers pulled off this event seemlessly. From fence builds to Gala’s, they are at the heart of everything we do. This includes volunteer and Emcee of the night, Allyson Spellman!

We are loving seeing the photos from the event- please keep posting and tagging us!
