Currently, we are trying to put a team of people that can help through churches and community organizations. I will be visiting the island in three weeks, as my parents home is located in the area of Carolina one block from Isla Verde Beach. Anything at this point would help the island. The following i
tems are of extreme need:
- Phones and VHF Radios, batteries, flashlights, etc.-Water, nonperishables,hydration (pedialyte)
- hygiene supplies, tooth brushes, toothpaste, soap, etc.
- Medical Supplies such as dispensary medicine, gauzes, antiseptics, gloves, etc)
-Construction Materials (tarps, plywood, screws, chainsaws for clearing roads, generators/solar plants for power, etc)
-Transportation costs (gas for cars, boats, airplanes, helicopters, etc)
