The 2025–26 school year has been the most successful one that EAST at West Fork High School has ever had–and we’ve had some good years! This year, we generated at least 445 service hours for our students and reintroduced outdoor education to the high school with our AGFC Stream Team, Fishing in the Natural State, an AGFC Fishing Derby, and archery instruction. We continued to conserve our home with trash cleanups and the recycling program on our campus. We competed at the inaugural Generation Conservation Summit, and we are a candidate for the prestigious School of Conservation Leadership designation.
We created the Tiger Table Community Pantry and distributed more than 21,000 pounds of food to our community. Our student champion, Olivia Wood, was selected as an Ambassador for the EAST Conference 2026 Leadership Team. We partnered with Lincoln High School, Arkansas Game and Fish, Bright Futures, Arvest, Shire Post Mint, West Fork PD, NWA Food Bank, BSA Troop 95, West Fork Schools PTO, and local wildlife rehabbers; we are looking forward to new relationships with H2Ozarks and many more in the months to come. We would love to thank all of our community partners for their support!
Our students mastered skills in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Blender, robotics, graphic design, 3D modeling, and 3D printing. Just as importantly, we learned how to cold-call community leaders, introduce ourselves with confidence, and draft professional communications. Our students have gone farther and accomplished more than ever before, and we are only getting started.
This is West Fork, and here we take care of each other. We will continue to help operate the pantry throughout the summer and beyond. We are EAST at West Fork High School, and our students are Agents of Change!
