Pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 loved getting creative, using their imaginations and learning how to bring their very own comic book characters to life.

A huge thank you to Marc for visiting us, sharing his amazing skills and inspiring our young artists!

Our Year 1 pupils have been exploring the big question: “Who do Christians say made the world?” 🌍✨during RE week.
The children learned about the Christian Creation Story and how the world was made in 7 days. After discussing how these stories are shared through art, storytelling and beautiful stain glass windows, the children loved designing their own vibrant windows to retell the creation story! 🎨⛪️

🌟Meet Chetwynde’s new student leaders 🌟

Chetwynde Primary School has appointed Clara as Head Girl, Myles as Head Boy, and Rex and Emily as Deputy Head Pupils.
The pupils applied for their roles by sharing their thoughts on the school’s core values of respect, responsibility and resilience and what these values mean to them.
Clara, who has been at Chetwynde since Kindergarten, said she was delighted to take on the role and highlighted the importance of respecting the school and its staff as well as making everybody feel involved in school life.
The new student leadership team will play an important role in representing their classmates, listening to their ideas and helping make Chetwynde an even better place.
They are already getting stuck in as part of the School Council with pupils brainstorming creative ideas to transform playtimes as the school develops its OPAL Primary Programme.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this fantastic team from Chetwynde Primary School achieves!
