Our fight for food security requires us to promote foods that are important to our culinary and cultural identity. We recognize that colonization brought new food to our shores among other things. If you are going to tell a story, tell the whole story.

While it’s impressive to see how this technology reduces the need for some manual labor it does have obstacles to being implemented in some parts of the world. For example, in places where labor costs are already low, it is next to impossible to justify the expense to overhaul a business with this technology.

Peter Ivey Official was in Amsterdam for one day… and ended up at two farmers markets on the same block. Two different crowds. Same fresh food. Same proximity.

Meanwhile, in some parts of NYC, you can’t find one farmers market nearby. And that’s the part we need to talk about—because food access shouldn’t depend on your zip code.
