30 Business Ideas by Women and Girls in Kosovo to Receive Support through the Grant Scheme

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the evaluation process for the First Phase of the Grant Scheme “Capacity Building and Provision of Equipment for 100 New Women-Owned Businesses”, implemented within the project “HER FUTURE – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Kosovo.”

The strong interest in this grant scheme once again demonstrated the energy, creativity, and determination of women and girls to establish their own businesses. Out of 105 interested women and girls, following the evaluation process and business establishment and management training, 33 complete grant applications were submitted.

The Evaluation Committee recommended 30 business ideas for funding, while 3 applications were placed on the reserve list.

This marks only the beginning of a new entrepreneurial journey for many young women who are working to transform their ideas into sustainable businesses.

We would like to thank all applicants for their trust and for sharing their valuable business ideas. We wish you every success and look forward to seeing your new businesses grow!

The grant scheme is implemented by PREDA Plus in partnership with WEntrepreneur, with the support of Arbeiter Samariter Bund and funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This grant scheme is also implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development, which has secured part of the funds for co-financing this scheme.

30 poslovnih ideja žena i devojaka na Kosovu dobija podršku kroz Grant šemu

Sa velikim zadovoljstvom objavljujemo da je uspešno završen proces evaluacije prijava za Prvu fazu Grant šeme „Osnaživanje i obezbeđivanje opreme za 100 novih biznisa u vlasništvu žena“, koja se sprovodi u okviru projekta „NJENA BUDUĆNOST – Osnaživanje žena preduzetnica na Kosovu“.

Veliko interesovanje za ovu grant šemu još jednom je pokazalo energiju, kreativnost i želju žena i devojaka da pokrenu sopstvene biznise. Od 105 zainteresovanih žena i devojaka, nakon procesa evaluacije i obuke za osnivanje i upravljanje biznisom, podnete su 33 kompletne prijave za grant.

Komisija za evaluaciju preporučila je 30 poslovnih ideja za finansiranje, dok su 3 prijave uvrštene na rezervnu listu.

Ovo je tek početak novog preduzetničkog p**a za mnoge mlade žene koje rade na tome da svoje ideje pretvore u održive biznise.

Grant šemu sprovodi PREDA Plus u partnerstvu sa WEntrepreneur, uz podršku organizacije Arbeiter Samariter Bund i finansiranje Saveznog ministarstva za ekonomsku saradnju i razvoj Nemačke (BMZ). Ova grant šema se takođe sprovodi u saradnji sa Ministarstvom regionalnog razvoja, koje je za potrebe ove šeme obezbedilo deo sredstava za sufinansiranje.

30 ide biznesi të grave dhe vajzave në Kosovë drejt mbështetjes përmes Skemës së Granteve!

Me shumë kënaqësi njoftojmë se ka përfunduar me sukses procesi i vlerësimit të aplikacioneve për Fazën e Parë të Skemës së Granteve “Aftësimi dhe ofrimi i pajisjeve për 100 biznese të reja në pronësi të grave”, në kuadër të projektit “E ARDHMJA E SAJ – Fuqizimi i Grave Sipërmarrëse në Kosovë”.

Interesimi i madh për këtë skemë dëshmoi edhe një herë energjinë, kreativitetin dhe dëshirën e grave dhe vajzave për të krijuar bizneset e tyre. Nga 105 gra dhe vajza të interesuara, pas procesit të vlerësimit dhe trajnimit për themelimin dhe menaxhimin e biznesit, 33 aplikacione të plota u dorëzuan për grant.

Komisioni i Vlerësimit rekomandoi 30 ide biznesi për financim, ndërsa 3 aplikacione u përfshinë në listën rezervë.

Ky është vetëm fillimi i një rrugëtimi të ri sipërmarrës për shumë gra të reja që po punojnë për t’i kthyer idetë e tyre në biznese të qëndrueshme.

Skema zbatohet nga PREDA Plus në partneritet me WEntrepreneur, me mbështetjen e Arbeiter Samariter Bund dhe financimin e Ministrisë Federale Gjermane për Bashkëpunim Ekonomik dhe Zhvillim (BMZ). Kjo skemë zbatohet gjithashtu në bashkëpunim me Ministrinë e Zhvillimit Rajonal, e cila për nevojat e kësaj skeme ka siguruar nje pjesë të mjeteve për bashkë-financim.

Women and girls in Ferizaj now have an even better-equipped space to connect, learn, and collaborate. With new equipment in place, NEXA Ferizaj has strengthened its capacity to support the development of women’s entrepreneurship at the local level.

Another important step in strengthening the NEXA network has been achieved in Ferizaj, where the regional office has now been equipped with the necessary infrastructure to provide a functional and supportive environment for the community of women entrepreneurs.

This space will serve as a place where women and girls can access information, develop their skills, connect with other women who share similar interests, and build partnerships that foster the growth of business ideas.

Through the expansion and strengthening of its regional offices, the NEXA network is building an increasingly strong presence across Kosovo, ensuring that support for women’s entrepreneurship is closer to local communities and more accessible to every woman and girl who wishes to build her future.

Welcome to this new chapter, NEXA Ferizaj!
