📍 Në kuadër të Muajit të Auditimit 2026, IABK mori pjesë në Konferencën Ndërkombëtare “Empowering Internal Audit”, e organizuar nga Albanian Institute of Internal Auditors dhe e mbajtur më 11 maj në Tiranë, duke organizuar dhe koordinuar gjithashtu pjesëmarrjen e auditorëve nga institucionet publike të Kosovës.
Konferenca mblodhi ekspertë dhe përfaqësues ndërkombëtarë të profesionit të auditimit të brendshëm, ku u diskutuan tema me rëndësi strategjike për të ardhmen e profesionit, përfshirë:
▪️ përafrimin me Kapitullin 32 të Acquis të BE-së,
▪️ rolin e auditimit në menaxhimin e riskut dhe qeverisjen korporative,
▪️ ndikimin e inteligjencës artificiale dhe analizës së të dhënave në proceset e auditimit,
▪️ si dhe forcimin e etikës, integritetit institucional dhe transparencës.
Një vëmendje e veçantë iu kushtua nevojës për avokim më të madh të profesionit, ndryshimit të stereotipeve rreth auditimit të brendshëm dhe fuqizimit të lidhjes mes profesionit dhe akademisë përmes Academic Alliance Programs. U theksua se studentët dhe profesionistët e rinj ende nuk kanë informacion të mjaftueshëm mbi rëndësinë dhe potencialin e këtij profesioni.
Një nga mesazhet inspiruese të konferencës ishte: “Njerëzit duan të udhëhiqen nga lider që inspirojnë ata- dhe ky quhet Lidership.”
Gjithashtu, u theksua se auditimi i brendshëm kontribuon drejtpërdrejt në ndërtimin e:
✔️ transparencës,
✔️ besimit institucional,
✔️ dhe kulturës së ndershmërisë dhe të qenit i hapun.
IABK mbetet i përkushtuar në fuqizimin e profesionit të auditimit të brendshëm në Kosovë dhe në krijimin e urave të bashkëpunimit me komunitetin ndërkombëtar të profesionit.
📍 As part of Audit Month 2026, IABK participated in the International Conference “Empowering Internal Audit”, organized by IIA Albania and held on May 11 in Tirana, while also organizing and coordinating the participation of auditors from public institutions in Kosovo.
The conference brought together international experts and representatives of the internal audit profession to discuss strategic topics shaping the future of the profession, including:
▪️ alignment with Chapter 32 of the EU Acquis,
▪️ the role of internal audit in risk management and corporate governance,
▪️ the impact of artificial intelligence and data analytics on audit processes,
▪️ as well as strengthening ethics, institutional integrity, and transparency.
Special attention was given to the need for stronger advocacy of the profession, changing stereotypes around internal audit, and strengthening the connection between the profession and academia through Academic Alliance Programs. It was emphasized that students and young professionals still lack sufficient awareness about the importance and potential of this profession.
One of the inspiring messages shared during the conference was:“People want to be inspired by the people that lead them — and that’s leadership.”
It was also highlighted that internal audit directly contributes to building:
✔️ transparency,
✔️ institutional trust,
✔️ and a culture of honesty and openness.
IIAC remains committed to strengthening the internal audit profession in Kosovo and building sustainable bridges of cooperation with the international professional community.
