Ju ftojmë në prezantimin publik të projekteve të zhvilluara në kuadër të Rezidencës INFRARED 2026.

Duke marrë titullin nga projekti hulumtues i Valmira Rash*tit, “Ahti i pemëve ka me ju nxanë” bashkon në një mbrëmje prezantimet e Valmira Rash*tit, Manushaqe Ibrahimit dhe Vullnet Jakupit, të cilët/at gjatë rezidencës kanë hulumtuar marrëdhëniet mes kujtesës, natyrës dhe ndryshimeve mjedisore përmes praktikave artistike dhe kërkimore.
Nga një herbarium familjar që rikthen në vëmendje biodiversitetin e humbur, te bimët që ripushtojnë hapësirat e braktisura dhe reflektimet mbi "ahtin" si kujtesë kolektive dhe formë e hershme e vetëdijes ekologjike, projektet ofrojnë perspektiva të ndryshme mbi mënyrat se si lidhemi me ambientin dhe historitë që ai bart.

INFRARED Residency: “The Trees’ Curse Will Catch You”

Join us for the public presentation of the projects developed as part of the INFRARED Residency 2026.
Taking its title from Valmira Rash*ti’s research project, “The Trees’ Curse Will Catch You,” this Open Studio brings together the work of Valmira Rash*ti, Manushaqe Ibrahimi, and Vullnet Jakupi, whose residency projects explore the relationships between memory, nature, and environmental change through artistic and research-based practices.
From a family herbarium that revisits lost biodiversity, to plants reclaiming abandoned spaces, and reflections on 'ahti' as a form of collective memory and an early expression of ecological consciousness, the projects offer different perspectives on how we relate to the environment and the stories it holds.

We invite you to engage with the working processes, learn more about their research, and join the conversation following the presentations.

Tri ditë të mbushura me ide, eksperimente dhe krijim kolektiv

Co-Creation Sessions mblodhi njerëz me interesa të ndryshme për të eksploruar ushqimin, riciklimin e letrës dhe tingullin si procese bashkë-krijimi. Nga gatimi mbi parimin zero food waste, te transformimi i letrës së përdorur në forma të reja dhe eksperimentimi me Playtronica, sampling dhe improvizimin muzikor, çdo punëtori solli një mënyrë të veçantë për të mësuar duke krijuar së bashku.

Kjo video përmbledh rrugëtimin e tri ditëve dhe Public Moment, ku proceset u ndanë me publikun përmes një instalacioni kolektiv, prezantimeve dhe një jam session live.

Co-creation Sessions

Three days of ideas, experimentation, and collective creation

Co-Creation Sessions brought together people from different backgrounds to explore food, paper recycling, and sound as processes of co-creation. From cooking through the principles of zero food waste, to transforming used paper into new forms, and experimenting with Playtronica, sampling, and musical improvisation, each workshop offered a unique way of learning by creating together.
This video captures the journey of the three-day programme and its concluding Public Moment, where the processes were shared with the public through a collective installation, presentations, and a live jam session.

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants, mentors, and collaborators who made this edition of Co-Creation Sessions possible.

Co-creation Sessions – Edicioni pranveror

Përgjatë tri ditëve të Co-Creation Sessions, Rezidenca 17 u shndërrua në një hapësirë të të mësuarit, eksperimentimit dhe krijimit kolektiv. Përmes tri sesioneve të udhëhequra nga Fllanza Bytyçi, Lumturie Krasniqi dhe Tomor Kuçi, pjesëmarrësit/et eksploruan mënyra të ndryshme të transformimit dhe rikrijimit — nga ushqimi dhe materialet e përdorura, te tingulli dhe performanca muzikore.
Në kuadër të programit u mbajtën edhe dy prezantime publike. Nicoletta Tranquillo nga Kilowatt ndau përvojat dhe praktikat e organizatës në zhvillimin e modeleve të qëndrueshme të bashkëpunimit, kujdesit dhe angazhimit komunitar, ndërsa Mia Melvær prezantoi punën e Constant, një organizatë me bazë në Bruksel që hulumton teknologjinë përmes artit eksperimental, kërkimit dhe teorisë feministe.
Programi u përmbyll me Public Moment, ku u prezantuan proceset dhe rezultatet e punëtorive: eksperimentet me riciklimin e letrës, praktikat e gatimit të bazuara në parimin zero food waste dhe një jam session live që solli së bashku pjesëmarrësit/et, muzikantët/et dhe Playtronica-n në një performancë kolektive.

Co-creation Sessions – Spring Edition

Over the course of three days, Co-Creation Sessions transformed Rezidenca 17 into a space for learning, experimentation, and collective creation. Through the sessions led by Fllanza Bytyçi, Lumturie Krasniqi, and Tomor Kuçi, participants explored different processes of transformation and re-creation — from food and recycled materials to sound and musical performance.
As part of the programme, two public presentations also took place. Nicoletta Tranquillo from Kilowatt shared the organisation’s experiences and practices in developing sustainable models of collaboration, care, and community engagement, while Mia Melvær introduced the work of Constant, a Brussels-based organisation that engages critically with technology through experimental art, research, and feminist theory.
The programme concluded with Public Moment, where participants presented the processes and outcomes of the workshops: experiments in paper recycling and transformation, food practices based on the principles of zero food waste, and a live jam session that brought together participants, musicians, and Playtronica in a collective performance.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants, mentors, and collaborators who contributed to this edition of Co-Creation Sessions.

Bisedë: Serra Madre - Një hapësirë e imagjinatës ekologjike

“Nuk do të mbijetojmë nëse nuk mësojmë ta rrëfejmë historinë tonë ndryshe, të ëndërrojmë ndryshe”, shkruan Paul B. Preciado.

Në këtë bisedë në kuadër të programit të Co-creation Sessions, Nicoletta Tranquillo do të prezantojë Serra Madre, një iniciativë e zhvilluar nga Kilowatt. Serra Madre e gjen bazën pikërisht në këtë bindje: vetëdijen se krizat me të cilat përballemi janë po aq kulturore sa edhe mjedisore. E konceptuar si një hapësirë kulturore e rigjeneruar në zemër të Bolonjës, Serra Madre është një platformë transdisiplinore ku arti dhe shkenca hyjnë në dialog radikal. Ajo funksionon si një qendër prodhimi e dedikuar për të sfiduar perspektivat antropocentrike përmes njohurive të bazuara në përvojë, duke nxitur një rrjet global kërkimi për të bashkëkrijuar të ardhme alternative, të qasshme dhe të dëshirueshme.
Biseda fton pjesëmarrësit/et në një diskutim të hapur mbi imagjinatën ekologjike, praktikat kolektive dhe rolin e hapësirave kulturore në formësimin e mundësive të reja për të ardhmen.

Nicoletta Tranquillo ka përfunduar studimet master në Zhvillim të Qëndrueshëm dhe Shkenca Mjedisore, si dhe një diplomë në Ekonomi Biznesi. Ajo është bashkëthemeluese e Kilowatt dhe Le Serre dei Giardini në Itali, ku ka mbështetur krijimin dhe zhvillimin e organizatave të orientuara drejt ndikimit shoqëror. Që nga viti 2024, ajo është drejtoreshë kulturore e Serra Madre, një qendër kulturore që promovon imagjinatën ekologjike përmes dialogut mes artit dhe shkencës. Edhe pse me formim në ekonomi, Nicoletta gjithmonë është fokusuar në ekologji, ndryshimet klimatike dhe krizën mjedisore, duke ndërthurur disiplina, fusha dhe sektorë të ndryshëm. Aktualisht, ajo është veçanërisht e angazhuar në promovimin e praktikave që nxisin mendimin dhe imagjinatën ekologjike përmes dialogut ndërmjet artit dhe shkencës.

Talk: Serra madre - a place of ecological imagination

“We will not be granted survival unless we learn to tell our story differently, to dream differently,” writes Paul B. Preciado.
In this talk, as part of Co-creation Sessions, Nicoletta Tranquillo will introduce Serra Madre, developed by Kilowatt. Sera Madre finds its roots in this very conviction: the awareness that the crises we face are as much cultural as they are environmental. Conceived as a regenerated cultural space in the heart of Bologna, Serra Madre is a transdisciplinary platform where art and science engage in radical dialogue. It is a production center dedicated to challenging anthropocentric perspectives through experiential knowledge, fostering a global network of research to co-create alternative, accessible, and desirable futures.
The talk invites participants into an open conversation on ecological imagination, collective practices, and the role of cultural spaces in shaping new possibilities for the future.

Nicoletta Tranquillo holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and Environmental Science, as well as a degree in Business Economics. She is a founding partner of Kilowatt and Le Serre dei Giardini in Bologna, Italy, where she supported the creation and growth of impact-oriented organisations. Since 2024, she has been the cultural director of Serra Madre, a cultural centre that promotes an ecological imagination through dialogue between art and science. Although an economist by training, Nicoletta has always focused on ecology, climate change and the environmental crisis, combining different disciplines, fields and sectors. She is currently particularly committed to promoting practices that encourage ecological thinking and imagination through dialogue between art and science.

Gjatë tre ditëve do të aplikohen teknika të ndryshme të sintezës dhe sampling-ut për krijimin e tingujve të rinj për përdorim kreativ në muzikë. Në fazën e parë, pjesëmarrësit/et do të angazhohen në incizimin e tingujve nga instrumente të ndryshme muzikore dhe burime të tjera tingullore. Këta tinguj do të përpunohen dhe transformohen në mënyra kreative, duke eksploruar mundësi të reja të shprehjes muzikore. Gjatë dy ditëve të para do të krijohen disa “presete” tingujsh nga materialet e incizuara. Këto do të shërbejnë si bazë për performancën finale, e cila do të ndodhë ditën e tretë në formën e jam session. Në këtë performancë do të kombinohen instrumentet muzikore bashkë me playtron, duke e përdorur atë si një instrument në vete.
Pjesëmarrja e instrumentistëve/eve inkurajohet për këto co-creation sessions. Preferohet që ata/ato të sjellin instrumentet e tyre personale, të cilat do të përdoren si për incizim gjatë ditëve të para, ashtu edhe për performancën finale, ku puna e realizuar do të prezantohet para publikut, në kombinim me improvizimin muzikor (jam session).

Tomor Kuçi është producent muzikor, kompozitor/kantautor dhe një nga themeluesit e fakultetit të parë të muzikës moderne në Kosovë, ku ligjëron lëndët e audio produksionit. Ka përfunduar studimet master në Audio Produksion në University of Westminster, Londër, me profesorë që kanë punuar me artistë si U2, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, David Bowie, Underworld, etj. Është njohur si kantautor dhe vokalist me bendin The Freelancers, me të cilin ka realizuar një album me 12 këngë dhe ka performuar në festivale ndërkombëtare si Sziget Festival dhe Exit Festival. Me grupin Oborri ka realizuar një album me 14 këngë dhe ka zhvilluar turne ballkanik. Ka kompozuar dhe performuar muzikë në më shumë se 10 shfaqje teatrale.

Transform Anything into an Instrument: Playtron Co-Creation Sessions

Over the course of three days, different synthesis and sampling techniques will be applied to create new sounds for creative use in music. In the first phase, participants will engage in recording sounds from various musical instruments and other sound sources. These sounds will then be creatively processed and transformed, exploring new possibilities for musical expression.
During the first two days, several sound “presets” will be created from the recorded material. These will serve as the basis for the final performance, which will take place on the third day in the form of a jam session. During this performance, musical instruments will be combined with Playtron, using it as an instrument in itself.
Instrumentalists are especially encouraged to participate in these co-creation sessions. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal instruments, which will be used both for recording during the first days and for the final performance, where the created work will be presented to the public in combination with musical improvisation (jam session).
Tomor Kuçi is a music producer, composer/songwriter, and one of the founders of the first modern music faculty in Kosovo, where he teaches audio production courses. He completed his Master’s studies in Audio Production at University of Westminster in London, studying with professors who have worked with artists such as U2, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, David Bowie, and Underworld. He is widely known as the songwriter and vocalist of The Freelancers, with whom he released a 12-track album and performed at international festivals such as Sziget Festival and Exit Festival. With the band Oborri, he released a 14-track album and toured across the Balkans. He has also composed and performed music for more than 10 theatre productions.

Riciklimi i letrës: në rikrijim

Përgjatë sesioneve treditore, pjesëmarrësit/et do të eksplorojnë procesin e riciklimit të letrës si një formë krijimi dhe transformimi. Duke punuar me materiale të përdorura, letra do të rikrijohet në forma të reja përmes ujit, përzierjes dhe eksperimentimit me ngjyrë.
Dy ditët e para fokusohen në krijimin e materialit, prodhimin e letrës së ricikluar dhe eksplorimin e ngjyrës, teksturave dhe transparencës, përmes një procesi të hapur dhe interaktiv.
Dita e tretë i dedikohet ndërhyrjes mbi materialin e krijuar. Çdo pjesëmarrës/e do të realizojë një gjest të thjeshtë mbi letrën e vet, përmes vizatimit, shkrimit apo formësimit , duke i dhënë një drejtim personal materialit.
Këto ndërhyrje do të vendosen më pas në hapësirë si një kompozim i përbashkët, duke reflektuar procesin kolektiv të rikrijimit.

Lumturie Krasniqi (l. 1997) është artiste vizuale me bazë në Prishtinë, Kosovë. Me diplomë bachelor në pikturë dhe aktualisht duke përfunduar studimet master, ajo punon në mediume si piktura, instalacioni dhe eksperimenton me dritën dhe transparencën. Praktika e saj hulumton aspekte shpesh të anashkaluara të jetës bashkëkohore, duke ngritur pyetje ekzistenciale dhe duke eksploruar ndërveprimin e të kundërtave: lidhjen dhe ndarjen, shpirtin dhe materien, frikën dhe dashurinë, njerëzoren dhe natyrën. Krasniqi ka ekspozuar punën e saj në shumë ekspozita, përfshirë Silent Threads, Resounding Kosova në GALLERIA CONTINUA (2025), Awakening—the 14th Biennial of Young Artists në Museum of Contemporary Art (2023), si dhe MANIFESTA 14 Biennale në Pristina (2022).

Paper Recycling: In Re-creation

Led by Lumturie Krasniqi

Throughout the three-day sessions, participants will explore the process of paper recycling as a form of creation and transformation. By working with used materials, paper will be recreated into new forms through water, blending, and experimentation with color. The first two days focus on material-making, the production of recycled paper, and the exploration of color, texture, and transparency through an open and interactive process. The third day is dedicated to interventions on the created material. Each participant will make a simple gesture on their paper through drawing, writing, or shaping, giving the material a personal direction. These interventions will then be placed together in the space as a collective composition, reflecting the collaborative process of re-creation.

Lumturie Krasniqi (b. 1997) is a visual artist based in Prishtina, Kosova. Holding a BA in Painting and currently completing her Master’s studies, she works across painting, installation, and experiments with light and transparency. Her practice delves into often overlooked aspects of contemporary life, posing existential questions and exploring the interplay of opposites, connection and separation, spirit and matter, fear and love, humanity and nature. Krasniqi has exhibited her work in numerous shows, including Silent Threads, Resounding Kosova, GALLERIA CONTINUA / Paris Marais (2025); Awakening—the 14th Biennial of Young Artists, Museum of Contemporary Art, Skopje (2023); and MANIFESTA 14 Biennale, Pristina (2022).

Sustainable Lunchcraft Turn less into lunch/plate

Përgjatë tre ditëve ideja është të krijohet një hapësirë praktike ku pjesëmarrësit bashkëpunojnë për të përgatitur receta me bazë vegjetariane. Qëllimi është të mësohet se si, me pak përbërës, mund të krijohet një pjatë e lehtë, e shëndetshme dhe e plotë. Gjatë punëtorisë, pjesëmarrësit/et do të eksplorojnë mënyra të ndryshme për të përdorur të njëjtat perime në disa forma: si sallatë, dip apo pjatë kryesore. Një fokus i veçantë do të jetë edhe përdorimi i pjesëve të mbetura (prerjeve) për të krijuar salca apo përbërës shtesë, duke reduktuar mbeturinat dhe duke rritur kreativitetin në kuzhinë.

Fllanza Bytyçi ishte themeluesja e konceptit inovativ të restorantit, Korë (Ha Pi Me Mase). Me një sfond në artin kulinarik nga Shqipëria dhe në teknologjinë ushqimore nga Kosova, ajo ka një pasion të madh për gastronominë dhe vlerëson fuqinë e ushqimit. Përmes eksplorimit të mënyrës së të pamurit dhe të ndjeshmërisë, ajo nxit që gjithë zinxhiri ushqimor të jetë më I qëndrueshëm, nga mbjellja,gatimi e deri tek servimi. Praktikat e saj përfshijnë një evolucion të gatimit dhe eksplorim të shijeve të reja, duke treguar se si çdo mbetje mund të transformohet në diçka të veçantë dhe të vlefshme, duke e bërë pjatën më të qëndrueshme dhe më të pasur në shije.

Sustainable Lunchcraft: Turn Less into Lunch/Plate

Over the course of three days, the aim is to create a practical space where participants collaborate to prepare vegetarian-based recipes. The goal is to learn how, with just a few ingredients, it is possible to create a light, healthy, and complete meal. During the workshop, participants will explore different ways of using the same vegetables in multiple forms: as salads, dips, or main dishes. A special focus will also be placed on using leftover parts (trimmings) to create sauces or additional components, reducing waste while enhancing creativity in the kitchen.

Fllanza Bytyçi is the founder of the innovative restaurant concept Korë (Ha Pi Me Mase). With a background in culinary arts from Albania and food technology from Kosovo, she has a strong passion for gastronomy and values the power of food. In her practice, she embraces the concept of zero waste as a creative approach to gastronomy that helps develop unique and rich flavors. Through exploring perception and sensitivity, she encourages a more sustainable food chain—from growing and cooking to serving. Her work reflects an evolving approach to cooking and the exploration of new flavors, demonstrating how every leftover can be transformed into something meaningful and valuable, making each dish more sustainable and richer in taste.
