🇬🇧What did students take home from the study visit in Greece? 🌱💡

A study visit is valuable when the experience continues after the journey ends.

During their mobility in , 14 students from and explored how entrepreneurship, science, technology and innovation are shaping today's agri-food sector.

💡They learned about:
🌱 developing and structuring business ideas
🌱 business planning and the Business Model Canvas
🌱 links between VET and labour-market needs
🌱 cooperation between VET institutions and businesses
🌱 applied agricultural science and technology
🌱 innovation and business incubation
🌱 new professional pathways in the agri-food sector

The experience moved from classroom → workshop → field visit → reflection, giving participants the opportunity to connect knowledge with real-world practice.

The most important outcome was a change in perspective: Agri-food is not only about production. It is also about entrepreneurship, technology, research, innovation, business and new career opportunities.

That is the kind of mindset CultiVETing aims to cultivate. 🌱

🇦🇱 Çfarë morën me vete studentët nga vizita studimore në Greqi? 🌱💡

Një vizitë studimore merr vlerë kur përvoja vazhdon edhe pasi udhëtimi përfundon.

Gjatë mobilitetit në , 14 studentë nga dhe eksploruan se si sipërmarrja, shkenca, teknologjia dhe inovacioni po formësojnë sektorin agroushqimor të së sotmes.

💡Ata u njohën me:
🌱 zhvillimin dhe strukturimin e ideve të biznesit
🌱 planifikimin e biznesit dhe përdorimin e Business Model Canvas
🌱 lidhjen ndërmjet arsimit profesional dhe nevojave të tregut të punës
🌱 bashkëpunimin ndërmjet institucioneve të arsimit profesional dhe bizneseve
🌱 shkencën dhe teknologjinë e aplikuar në bujqësi
🌱 inovacionin dhe inkubimin e bizneseve
🌱 rrugë të reja profesionale në sektorin agroushqimor

Përvoja kaloi nga klasa → workshope → vizita në terren → reflektimi, duke u dhënë pjesëmarrësve mundësinë të lidhin njohuritë me praktikën reale.

Rezultati më i rëndësishëm ishte ndryshimi i mendësisë: Sektori agroushqimor nuk ka të bëjë vetëm me prodhimin. Ai lidhet gjithashtu me sipërmarrjen, teknologjinë, kërkimin, inovacionin, biznesin dhe mundësi të reja për karrierë.

Kjo është pikërisht mendësia që CultiVETing synon të kultivojë. 🌱

CultiVETing - from knowledge to opportunities for young people in the agri-food sector 🌱

Today, the CultiVETing - Cultivating entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector through VET consortium came together for its latest Steering Committee meeting, with strong participation and renewed energy after the summer break.

With just three months left until the end of the project, the meeting was a valuable opportunity to take stock of progress, clarify the final steps and coordinate efforts to deliver the remaining results and project targets.

💡 A key focus was Work Package 4, where entrepreneurship support is now moving from planning into practice within partner VET institutions:

🏢 establishing Entrepreneurship Offices;
💡 providing consulting and empowerment services for students;
🚀 running Startup Simulations;
🤝 creating internship opportunities.

Together, these activities are designed to help students build entrepreneurial skills, connect with the business world and improve their employment prospects, particularly in the agri-food sector and rural areas.

📢 At the same time, the consortium is moving ahead with dissemination and communication of project results, as well as preparations for the Final Conference, where we will share the achievements, lessons learned and results of our journey together.

Three months to go. A lot still to do - and a lot to share! 🚀

CultiVETing - nga njohuritë te mundësitë për të rinjtë në sektorin agro-ushqimor 🌱

Sot, konsorciumi i projektit CultiVETing - Cultivating entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector through VET u mblodh në takimin e radhës të Steering Committee, me pjesëmarrje të lartë dhe energji të reja pas pushimeve të verës.

Me vetëm tre muaj deri në përfundimin e projektit, takimi ishte një mundësi e rëndësishme për të raportuar progresin, për të qartësuar hapat e fundit dhe për të koordinuar punën për përmbushjen e rezultateve dhe treguesve të projektit.

💡Një fokus i veçantë iu kushtua Paketës së punës 4, ku po marrin formë konkretisht mekanizmat e mbështetjes së sipërmarrjes në institucionet e AFP-së:

🏢 ngritja e Zyrës së sipërmarrjes;
💡 ofrimi i shërbimeve të këshillimit dhe fuqizimit për studentët;
🚀 Startup Simulations;
🤝 mundësitë e praktikave të punës.

Këto hapa synojnë t’u japin studentëve më shumë mundësi për të zhvilluar aftësi sipërmarrëse, për t’u lidhur me botën e biznesit dhe për të ndërtuar perspektiva më të mira punësimi, veçanërisht në sektorin agroushqimor dhe zonat rurale.

📢 Paralelisht, konsorciumi po avancon edhe punën për dissemination, komunikimin e rezultateve dhe Konferencën Finale, ku do të ndajmë mësimet, arritjet dhe rezultatet e këtij rrugëtimi të përbashkët.

Tre muaj të fundit. Shumë për të bërë, por edhe shumë për të ndarë! 🚀

🇦🇱 Nga klasa drejt përvojës reale: studentët zbulojnë inovacionin në sektorin agroushqimor në Greqi 🇬🇷🌱
Si do të duket e ardhmja e sektorit agroushqimor? Çfarë nevojitet për ta kthyer një ide bujqësore në një sipërmarrje?
Këto ishin disa nga pyetjet që u trajtuan nga 14 studentë nga Shqipëria dhe Kosova gjatë vizitës studimore tre-ditore të projektit CultiVETing në Athinë, Greqi, e organizuar nga AKMI.
Përmes workshopeve, diskutimeve dhe vizitave në terren, pjesëmarrësit u njohën me:
🌱 sipërmarrjen dhe zhvillimin e ideve të biznesit
💡 inovacionin në sektorin agroushqimor
🤝 bashkëpunimin ndërmjet arsimit dhe formimit profesional, bizneseve dhe tregut të punës
🔬 shkencën dhe teknologjinë e aplikuar
🚀 mundësitë e reja për biznes dhe karrierë në sektorin agroushqimor
Nga zhvillimi i ideve për kalimin nga arsimi drejt punësimit deri te vizitat në Institutin Benaki të Fitopatologjisë dhe Smart AgroHub, kjo përvojë e çoi të nxënit përtej klasës dhe e lidhi atë me shembuj konkretë të kërkimit, inovacionit, sipërmarrjes dhe zhvillimit të biznesit.
Vizita ishte pjesë e projektit CultiVETing - Cultivating Entrepreneurship in the Agrifood Sector through VET, i cili synon të forcojë lidhjet ndërmjet arsimit dhe formimit profesional, sipërmarrjes dhe tregut të punës në sektorin agroushqimor në Ballkanin Perëndimor.
Sepse të përjetosh mundësi të reja mund të jetë hapi i parë drejt krijimit të tyre. 🌱

🇬🇧 From the classroom to the real world: CultiVETing students explore agri-food innovation in Greece 🇬🇷🌱
What does the future of the agri-food sector look like? And what does it take to turn an agricultural idea into a business?
These were some of the questions explored by 14 students from Albania and Kosovo during a three-day CultiVETing study visit in Athens, Greece, hosted by AKMI.
Through workshops, discussions and field visits, participants explored:
🌱 entrepreneurship and business idea development
💡 innovation in the agri-food sector
🤝 cooperation between VET, businesses and the labour market
🔬 applied science and technology
🚀 new opportunities for agri-food businesses and careers
From developing ideas for the transition from education to employment to visiting the Benaki Phytopathological Institute and Smart AgroHub, the experience took learning beyond the classroom and connected it with real examples of research, innovation, entrepreneurship and business development.
The visit was part of CultiVETing - Cultivating Entrepreneurship in the Agri-food Sector through VET, supporting stronger links between vocational education, entrepreneurship and the agri-food labour market in the Western Balkans.
Because experiencing new possibilities can be the first step towards creating them. 🌱

🇦🇱 Ndërtimi i mekanizmave të mbështetjes për sipërmarrjen në arsimin profesional.
Sot partnerët e projektit CultiVETing u mblodhën për të koordinuar aktivitetet në kuadër të Paketës së Punës 4, e cila synon të forcojë mekanizmat e mbështetjes për sipërmarrjen në institucionet partnere të arsimit profesional në Ballkanin Perëndimor.
Diskutimet u përqendruan në krijimin e mekanizmave të mbështetjes për sipërmarrjen, mentorimin e studentëve, ngritjen e komiteteve të përhershme për përmirësimin e kurrikulave dhe hapat e ardhshëm të zbatimit. Së bashku, partnerët mbeten të angazhuar për të forcuar lidhjen ndërmjet arsimit profesional, sipërmarrjes dhe tregut të punës në sektorin agroushqimor, duke mbështetur të rinjtë në zhvillimin e aftësive dhe kompetencave të nevojshme për karrierën e tyre.

🇬🇧 Building Entrepreneurship Support in Vocational Education
Today, the CultiVETing partners met to coordinate activities under Work Package 4, which focuses on strengthening entrepreneurship support within partner VET institutions across the Western Balkans.
The discussion covered the deployment of entrepreneurship support mechanisms, student mentoring, permanent committees for curriculum improvement and the next implementation milestones. Together, partners remain committed to creating stronger links between vocational education, entrepreneurship and the agri-food labor market, helping young people develop the skills and confidence needed for successful careers.

🇦🇱Partnerët e projektit CultiVETing në Shqipëri - Albanian Network for Rural Development, VIS Albania, Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës - Faqja Zyrtare, Qendra Don Bosko përmbyllën me sukses 2 Panaire Pune dhe 3 Sesione Informuese të organizuara në Tiranë dhe Shkodër.
Aktivitetet sollën së bashku studentë, nxënës, institucione arsimore, biznese dhe organizata të sektorit agroushqimor për të diskutuar mbi të ardhmen e punës, aftësitë e kërkuara nga punëdhënësit dhe mundësitë për punësim, praktikë profesionale dhe sipërmarrje.
Një nga mesazhet kryesore të përcjella gjatë aktiviteteve ishte se sektori agroushqimor nuk është më vetëm bujqësi tradicionale. Sot ai kërkon teknologji, inovacion, sipërmarrje, marketing, menaxhim dhe aftësi digjitale. Në një treg pune që po ndryshon me shpejtësi, të rinjtë kanë nevojë jo vetëm për njohuri teknike, por edhe për aftësi praktike, kreativitet dhe gatishmëri për të mësuar vazhdimisht.
Falënderojmë të gjitha bizneset, institucionet dhe të rinjtë që kontribuan në suksesin e këtyre aktiviteteve dhe në ndërtimin e urave më të forta ndërmjet arsimit dhe tregut të punës.

🇬🇧CultiVETing partners in Albania – Albanian Network for Rural Development, VIS Albania, , and the successfully completed 2 Job Fairs and 3 Information Sessions organized in Tirana and Shkodra.
The events brought together students, VET learners, educational institutions, businesses and agri-food stakeholders to discuss the future of work, labour market needs, and opportunities for employment, internships and entrepreneurship.
A key message delivered throughout the events was that the agri-food sector is no longer just traditional agriculture. Today, it requires technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, management and digital skills. In a rapidly changing labour market, young people need not only technical knowledge but also practical skills, creativity and a willingness to continuously learn.
We thank all businesses, institutions and young participants who contributed to the success of these activities and to building stronger connections between education and the labour market.

🇦🇱Partnerët tanë në Kosovë, Network of Organizations for Rural Development of Kosovo APPK - Agjensioni i Përkrahjes së Punësimit Kosovë, SHMAT "Abdyl Frashëri" Prishtinë, SHMP "Bahri Haxha" Vushtrri kanë përmbyllur me sukses aktivitetet “Panair Pune dhe Sesione Informuese” në kuadër të projektit CultiVETing.
Përmes aktiviteteve të organizuara në Prishtinë, Vushtrri dhe Rahovec, studentët, mësimdhënësit, institucionet e AFP-së dhe bizneset e sektorit agroushqimor u bënë pjesë e një platforme të vlefshme për informim, orientim në karrierë, rrjetëzim profesional dhe krijimin e lidhjeve më të forta ndërmjet arsimit dhe tregut të punës.

🇬🇧Our project partners in Kosovo, the Network of Organizations for Rural Development of Kosovo, APPK - Agjensioni i Përkrahjes së Punësimit Kosovë “SHMAT "Abdyl Frashëri" Prishtinë “SHMP "Bahri Haxha" Vushtrri have successfully completed the Job Fair and Information Session activities implemented within the framework of the CultiVETing project.
Through events organized in Prishtina, Vushtrri and Rahovec, students, teachers, VET institutions and agri-food businesses came together in a valuable platform for information sharing, career guidance, professional networking and strengthening the links between education and the labour market.
