A mix from an artist we’ve been eagerly looking forward to lands on Hapësira's 82nd podcast series. Zaltsman is a London-based artist 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, DJ, and promoter whose work sits at the intersection of sound, community, and creativity. Since 2017, he has been behind Emergency Room, a party series that has brought distinctive dancefloor experiences to cities like London, Bristol, and Brighton.

As a producer, Zaltsman crafts music defined by layered textures, intricate percussion, and a strong sense of atmosphere. His tracks merge rhythmic intensity with subtle nuance, resulting in music that’s both immediate and transportive. He has released on Shanti Celeste’s Peach Discs, with recent records on Moxie’s On Loop and Interplanetary Criminal & Main Phase’s ATW, further cementing his place among some of the most vital imprints in contemporary club music. His productions have earned wide support from across the scene — including Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, Midland, Moxie, Pangaea, and more - with Ben UFO recently featuring one of his tracks in his Boiler Room set.

As a DJ, Zaltsman is defined by versatility and unpredictability, moving fluidly across genres while reimagining sounds in new contexts. He has recently brought this approach to renowned spaces such as Fabric and OHM, alongside dancefloors across the UK, Taipei, Copenhagen,Madrid and beyond. Whether producing, DJing, or curating events, his focus remains on creating authentic, meaningful experiences, a commitment that has secured his place in the underground music scene.

Marcela is our guest for Podcast no.81. She is a rising Croatian DJ hailing from Zagreb, blending deep house, deep tech and minimal house into fluid, immersive sets. 2024 marked her breakout year with wins at the Elector Award for New (S)elector and the Ambasador Award for NXT GEN, cementing her as one of the most promising new talents on the scene. A member of the Underground Music Connection collective, she’s already shared decks with names like Pornbugs and performed at standout events across Croatia and beyond. Deep baselines and funky grooves are covering our 80th podcast coming from Kim April. Blending elements of minimal, tech and acid house.
She has crafted her own unique sound, inspired by the vibrant underground scenes of Amsterdam, Ibiza and London.

Kim April spent her formative years in The Netherlands, immersed in a close-knit family that shared a deep love for music and attended festivals and concerts together. At the age of 20, she discovered her new home in Ibiza, Spain. Arriving on the island alone, she quickly forged new friendships with like-minded individuals who shared her passion for events, nightlife, and music.

As her love for electronic music grew year after year, Kim April ventured into the world of DJing and producing her own tracks. Having had a piano at home since an early age, she taught herself to listen to songs and recreate them, honing her skills and eventually finding her own sound.

Producer & Dj from Belarus, now based in Warsaw, Viikatory's creative work is a fusion of music from various corners and eras of the musical universe. Through her mixes she immerses listeners in the whirlwind of '90s trance and fast-paced house, with beautiful vocal lines intertwining throughout the history of techno and electro which contain flow and freedom within. Viikatory's goal is to offer an extraordinary journey into the world of electronic music, creating mixes that not only blend styles but also tell captivating stories.

The production aspect of Viikatory sheds light on the limitless possibilities of musical art, with tracks released on labels like Tresor, Trust Label, International Chrome, Mana Abundance, Warning, Dance Trax, and others, serving as a personal guide through a diverse world of sounds and emotions, transcending genre limitations.
