Njihuni me udhëheqjen e re të YWP Kosovo!

Me fillimin e një kapitulli të ri, ju prezantojmë me ekipin që do të udhëheqë Young Water Professionals Kosovo.

Një ekip profesionistësh të rinj, me eksperienca nga fusha të ndryshme, të bashkuar nga interesi për sektorin e ujërave, zhvillimin profesional dhe bashkëpunimin.

Gjatë mandatit të ardhshëm, synojmë të krijojmë më shumë mundësi për rrjetëzim, shkëmbim të njohurive dhe përfshirje të profesionistëve të rinj në sektorin e ujërave në Kosovë.

Bashkë për një të ardhme më të qëndrueshme të ujërave. 💧

PRU-K me Kryesi të Re dhe me zotim për fuqizim të ndikimit në sektorin e ujërave.

PRU-K gjatë kësaj fundjave, ka mbajtur punëtori dy ditore për të bërë Onboarding të Kryesisë së Re dhe transferimin e njohurive dhe përvojës nga Kryesia e mëparshme tek e reja.

Punëtoria u fokusua në transferin e njohurive dhe përvojave tek kryesia e re dhe krahas kësaj, është punuar në rishikimin e Planit të Zhvillimit Organizativ dhe në Planin e Punës së rrjetit.

Si rezultat i këtij takimi përplot diskutime dhe ide, është entuziazmi që PRU-K të vazhdojë të punojë duke shfrytëzuar kapacitetet profesioniste dhe të fuqizohet në një akter të zëshëm të shqetësimeve kryesore të sektorit të ujërave në vend.

Punëtoria është mundësuar nga programi IWRM-K dhe mbështetur nga SHUKOS.

PRU-K with New Steering Committee and Commitment to Strengthening Impact in the Water Sector.

PRU-K held a two-day workshop this weekend to Onboard the New Steering Committee and transfer knowledge and experience from the previous Leadership to the new one.

The workshop focused on the transfer of knowledge and experience to the new leadership and, in addition, work was done on reviewing the Organizational Development Plan and the Network Work Plan.

As a result of this meeting full of discussions and ideas, it is enthusiastic that PRU-K will continue to work by using professional capacities and empowering itself as a vocal actor of the main concerns of the water sector in the country.

The workshop was facilitated by the IWRM-K Program and supported by SHUKOS.

U mbajt workshopi i dytë në kuadër të projektit “Enhancing Digitalization of Water Infrastructure in Kosovo”, i cili zbatohet nga PRU-K.

Gjatë workshopit u diskutuan progresi i punës në terren, cilësia dhe konsistenca e të dhënave, gabimet e identifikuara dhe masat korrigjuese. Gjithashtu, u prezantuan procesi i digjitalizimit në GIS dhe platforma për përpunimin dhe validimin e të dhënave.

Workshopi kontribuoi në harmonizimin e mënyrës së punës dhe përcaktimin e hapave të ardhshëm për përmirësimin e cilësisë së të dhënave.

Ky projekt realizohet në kuadër të FLOWS, të zbatuar nga Ministria e Mjedisit dhe Planifikimit Hapësinor dhe të financuar nga Banka Botërore.

The second workshop was held as part of the “Enhancing Digitalization of Water Infrastructure in Kosovo” project, implemented by YWP-K.

During the workshop, the team discussed fieldwork progress, data quality and consistency, identified errors, and corrective measures. The GIS digitalization process and the platform for data processing and validation were also presented.

The workshop contributed to harmonizing the working approach and defining the next steps for improving data quality.

Thank you to the team for their engagement and constructive discussions!

This project is carried out under FLOWS, implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and financed by the World Bank.

💧 Together We Are Shaping the Future of Water Education in Kosovo

We are proud to celebrate an important milestone in the EDUwater Kosovo project.

As the implementing partner, Young Water Professionals Kosovo (YWP-K) is honored to lead this hashtag , supported by the Integrated Water Resources Management in Kosovo IWRM-Kosovo Programme, with one clear vision: to hashtag young people to understand, value, and hashtag one of our most precious hashtag —hashtag .

We proudly mark the successful signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between the IWRM-K Programme and the pilot municipalities of hashtag , hashtag , hashtag , hashtag , and hashtag .

This is only the beginning. Over the coming months, students will explore water through interactive lessons, educational videos, experiments, field visits, and creative activities designed to inspire curiosity and environmental responsibility.

We sincerely thank the IWRM-K Programme, the participating municipalities, and all partners for their trust, commitment, and collaboration. Together, we are laying the foundation for a more , , , and future for Kosovo.

Me kënaqësi ju njoftojmë se kemi nënshkruar kontratë me Ministrinë e Mjedisit dhe Planifikimit Hapesinor përmes projektit FLOWS për zbatimin e projektit “Enhancing Digitalization of Water Infrastructure in Kosovo”, në bashkëpunim me SHUKOS-in.

Përmes këtij projekti, ne do të kontribuojmë në krijimin e një regjistri digjital dhe sistemi GIS për hartëzimin dhe menaxhimin e digave të vogla, pendave dhe infrastrukturës ujore në Kosovë. Po ashtu, do të forcojmë kapacitetet profesionale dhe menaxhimin e të dhënave në sektorin e ujit.

We are pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning through the FLOWS Project for the implementation of the project “Enhancing Digitalization of Water Infrastructure in Kosovo”, in cooperation with SHUKOS.

Through this project, we will contribute to the development of a digital register and GIS-based system for the mapping and management of small dams, weirs, and water infrastructure in Kosovo. We will also help strengthen professional capacities and data management in the water sector.

Profesionistët e Rinj të Ujit në Kosovë morën pjesë në forumin ndërkombëtar “E Ardhmja e Ujit – Përgjigje Inovative ndaj Sfidave Globale të Ujit”, i organizuar nga Partneriteti Hungarez i Ujit në Budapest.

Ky forum mblodhi profesionistë të sektorit të ujit, përfaqësues institucionesh, akademikë dhe udhëheqës të sektorit nga vende të ndryshme, me qëllim shkëmbimin e ideve dhe përvojave rreth të ardhmes së menaxhimit të ujit, inovacionit, financimit dhe qëndrueshmërisë në këtë sektor.

Pjesëmarrja në këtë forum ishte gjithashtu një mundësi shumë e mirë për të krijuar lidhje të reja dhe për të forcuar bashkëpunimin me universitete në Budapest, me rrjetin e Profesionistëve të Rinj të Ujit nga rajoni dhe më gjerë, si dhe me aktorë të tjerë të rëndësishëm në sektorin e ujit.

Angazhime të tilla ndihmojnë në forcimin e bashkëpunimit ndërkombëtar dhe u japin mundësi profesionistëve të rinj nga Kosova që të jenë pjesë aktive e diskutimeve globale për të ardhmen e ujit.

Falënderojmë Partneritetin Hungarez të Ujit për mundësinë dhe për organizimin shumë të mirë të këtij forumi të rëndësishëm.

Young Water Professionals Kosovo participated in the international forum “The Future of Water – Innovative Responses to Global Water Challenges”, organized by the Hungarian Water Partnership in Budapest.

The event brought together water professionals, institutions, academia, and sector leaders from different countries to exchange perspectives on the future of water management, innovation, financing, and resilience in the water sector.

Participation in this forum also provided an excellent opportunity to build new connections and strengthen networks with universities in Budapest, Young Water Professionals from the region and beyond, as well as other stakeholders in the water sector.

Such engagements strengthen international cooperation and enable young professionals from Kosovo to actively contribute to global discussions on the future of water.

We thank the Hungarian Water Partnership for the opportunity and the excellent organization of this important forum.

Jemi shumë të lumtur të ndajmë me ju lajmin se kryetari ynë, Albert Salltakaj, është zgjedhur Kryetar i Komitetit të Profesionistëve të Rinj të Ujit të Rajonit të Danubit, në kuadër të Shoqatës Ndërkombëtare të Ujit (IWA). Për IWA-PRU Kosova, ky është një vlerësim i punës dhe angazhimit që komuniteti ynë ka ndërtuar ndër vite. We are really pleased to share that our chair, Albert Salltakaj, has been elected as Chair of the Young Water Professionals Committee of the Danube Region under the International Association for Water Development. For IWA-YWP Kosovo, this represents a great recognition of the work our community has been building over the years.
