The journey of the Liberal Youth School 2024 is complete! Our final module organized in partnership with FNF Western Balkans, brought Kosovo’s youth together to tackle disinformation, fake news, and strategic communication. 📰💡
𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀🚫📰
Led by journalist Uran Haxha, participants explored the severe impacts of fake news on society and democracy. Through engaging discussions, they delved into why disinformation is so dangerous and how it threatens democratic societies. ⚠️
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 📢💬
Valon Kurhasani from the National Democratic Institute (NDI) introduced participants to strategic communication principles. By understanding the importance of clear, effective messaging, participants gained insight into how communication shapes public opinion and political discourse. 🧠🗣️
𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲🌱💡
Guided by Kastriot Sh Muçolli, Co-Founder of KLC, this session encouraged participants to brainstorm innovative projects and initiatives that promote liberal-democratic values. Participants left the session ready to take their ideas forward in their communities, armed with both the knowledge and the inspiration to make a difference. 🚀🌍
The module wrapped up with reflections and 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗯𝘆 Sami Boroci, 𝗖𝗼-𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗟𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗸𝘂, 𝗙𝗡𝗙 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗮𝗻𝘀, honoring the growth and achievements of each participant.
