A e dini se në shumë vende evropiane, zhvillimi i turizmit mbështetet edhe përmes taksës së akomodimit?

Taksa e akomodimit është një mekanizëm që ndihmon në krijimin e fondeve të dedikuara për zhvillimin, menaxhimin dhe promovimin e destinacioneve turistike. Përmes partneritetit me Asociacionin e Komunave të Kosovës, GROW është duke i mbështetur komunat në shqyrtimin e mundësive për operacionalizimin e këtij mekanizmi, në përputhje me Ligjin për Turizmin, si një mënyrë për të krijuar burime të qëndrueshme financimi për zhvillimin e turizmit lokal.

Grow është projekt i financuar nga SIDA, dhe implementohet nga Swisscontact në Kosovë.

Last week, GROW supported the Department of Viticulture and Enology with equipment aimed at strengthening the organoleptic testing and analysis of Kosovo’s wines.

The Department plays an important role in the wine value chain, helping ensure that wineries have access to the services needed for quality assurance and certification. Strengthening its operational capacities contributes to more efficient service delivery and supports the continued development and competitiveness of the sector.

This support marks one of the first steps in GROW’s engagement with the wine sector, laying the groundwork for a broader intervention to promote wine tourism in Kosovo. By supporting key sector functions and actors, GROW aims to contribute to stronger wine tourism experiences and to the diversification of Kosovo’s tourism offer.

A look back at Kosovo designers presenting their collections at the 10th edition of the Stockholm International Fashion Fair 2026 (STIFF) 🇽🇰✨

With support from the GROW project, Labentine and Diba Celina Baymak, two fashion brands from Kosovo, participated in STIFF, an international platform that connects designers with buyers, creatives, and other fashion industry stakeholders from across Scandinavia and beyond.

The collaboration was facilitated through the Embassy of Kosovo in Stockholm, helping create direct connections with the Swedish fashion market and increasing the visibility of Kosovo’s apparel sector internationally.

Through this intervention, GROW supported the designers’ participation to strengthen market linkages, promote Kosovo fashion products in targeted export markets, and contribute to future collaboration, business partnerships, and export opportunities for Kosovo’s growing apparel industry.

Around 15 representatives from 6 municipalities across Kosovo, including mayors and directors of economic development, took part in a study visit to Grenoble, France, organized by the GROW project in cooperation with the Association of Kosovo Municipalities.

The visit focused on sustainable mountain tourism and included participation in the Grenoble Mountain Planet fair and meetings with relevant international stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. This enabled the participants to exchange experiences and deepen their knowledge on local financing, strategic planning, and modern practices for destination management and development, drawing on successful examples from established tourism destinations in the French Alps.

Through initiatives like this, GROW aims to support local institutions in developing more competitive, sustainable, and market-oriented destinations.
