🌎Yesterday, we hosted a wonderful closing event for the “SCORE” project, bringing together participants from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. During the event, we presented the Impact Analysis, which highlighted the positive and measurable influence the project has had on young people across all partner countries.

A dynamic panel discussion followed, featuring Play International Western Balkans, Rin’On NGO (Kosovo), Discovery NGO (North Macedonia), and MSN NGO (Montenegro). Each organization shared meaningful insights from their experience implementing “SCORE” activities with youth.

This collaboration between countries underscored a powerful message: sport is an essential tool for youth development, empowerment, and social connection.

👉👉Here’s how “SCORE” is making an impact on the ground! 🌍✨

Youth workers trained through the “SCORE” project are now actively engaging with young people across communities — turning knowledge into action. 💪

🇲🇰🇲🇰One great example is INOYouth organization from Komanovo, where 24 young people aged 15–17 took part in dynamic workshop exploring topics like discrimination, gender equality, and radicalization — all through sport-based activities. 🏀🤝

These dedicated NGOs and youth workers are not only creating safe spaces, but also sparking critical conversations and equipping youth with the tools they need for real growth and change. 🚀

🌎The SCORE team is officially on the field!

Young changemakers from various NGOs in Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Kosovo have completed intensive training sessions designed to equip them with the tools to make a real impact in their communities.

Through these sessions, they’ve gained valuable skills and knowledge on how to use sports as a powerful tool to challenge and counter extremist narratives rooted in division, hate, and intolerance.
By promoting teamwork, respect, and inclusion, these young leaders are now ready to take action and build stronger, more resilient communities through the universal language of sport.

DemSport shpreh indinjatën dhe dënimin e saj të thellë ndaj sulmit fizik të ushtruar ndaj futbollistit të ri, Belgin Jashari, gjatë një ndeshjeje në Fushë Kosovë.​

Ky akt i dhunshëm, i kryer nga një i rritur ndaj një të mituri në një hapësirë që duhet të jetë e sigurt dhe edukative, është i papranueshëm dhe bie ndesh me vlerat themelore të sportit dhe shoqërisë sonë. Veçanërisht shqetësues është fakti se, sipas dëshmive të publikuara, sulmi mund të ketë pasur motive racore, duke e bërë këtë ngjarje edhe më tronditëse.​

DemSport i bën thirrje institucioneve përkatëse, përfshirë Policinë e Kosovës dhe Federatën e Futbollit të Kosovës, që të ndërmarrin veprime të menjëhershme për hetimin e plotë të këtij rasti dhe për të siguruar që autorët të përballen me drejtësinë. Është thelbësore që të dërgohet një mesazh i qartë se dhuna, racizmi dhe çdo formë tjetër e sjelljes së papërshtatshme nuk kanë vend në sport, veçanërisht në aktivitetet ku marrin pjesë fëmijët.​

Sporti duhet të jetë një mjet për të ndërtuar ura bashkëpunimi, për të promovuar respektin dhe për të nxitur zhvillimin personal dhe shoqëror të të rinjve. DemSport angazhohet për të promovuar një mjedis sportiv të sigurt, gjithëpërfshirës dhe pa dhunë për të gjithë pjesëmarrësit.​

Ne qëndrojmë pranë Belginit dhe të gjithë të rinjve që përballen me sfida të ngjashme, duke i inkurajuar ata të ndjekin ëndrrat e tyre dhe të mos lejojnë që aktet e dhunës t'i pengojnë në rrugëtimin e tyre.​

DemSport do të vazhdojë të punojë me komunitetin, institucionet dhe organizatat partnere për të siguruar që sporti në Kosovë të jetë një hapësirë e sigurt dhe e drejtë për të gjithë.
