U lansua fushata senzibilizuese mbi ndalimin e përdorimit të termave pezhorativ. Kjo fushatë u zhvillua ne shkollat e mesme të ulëta dhe ato të mesme te larta në komunat Pejë, Istog dhe Klinë.
Në kuadër të kësaj fushate është bërë shpërndarja e broshurave dhe posterave përmbajtja e të cilëve lidhet direkt me termet ofenduese dhe ndalimin e përdorimit të tyre me anë të vetëdijësimit dhe informimit publik. Të gjitha institucionet shkollore ne këto tri komuna ishin të gatshme që të ndihmojn dhe përkrahin këtë fushatë të realizuar nga ana e IHSJE dhe të mbështetur nga Terres des Hommes, duke arsyetuar se kjo është në të mirën e gjithë shoqërisë.

The sensitization campaign on the prohibition of the use of pejorative terms was launched. This campaign took place in lower and upper secondary schools in the municipalities of Pejë, Istog and Klinë.
As part of this campaign, brochures and posters have been distributed, the content of which is directly related to offensive terms and the prohibition of their use through public awareness and information. All school institutions in these three municipalities were ready to help and support this campaign carried out by IHSJE and supported by Terres des Hommes, reasoning that this is in the interest of the whole society.

U lansua hulumtimi “Përfaqësimi në Media, termet pezhorative dhe Komunitetet jo shumicë në Klinë, Istog dhe Pejë”
Sot më 5 mars 2024 u lansua hulumtimi “Përfaqësimi në Media, termet pezhorative dhe Komunitetetjo shumicë në Klinë, Istog dhe Pejë”, ku të ftuar ishin institucione, aktivistë e pjestar të shoqërisë civile.
Ky raport gjithëpërfshirës trajton sfidat me të cilat përballen komunitetet rom, ashkali dhe egjiptian në Kosovë, me fokus të veçantë në komunat e Klinës, Istogut dhe Pejës. Përmes një analize të shumëanshme, raporti shqyrton ndikimin e përfaqësimit në media dhe përdorimit të termave pezhorativ mbi këto komunitete joshumicë, duke hedhur dritë mbi shpërndarjen e tyre demografike, kushtet e jetesës, sistemet e mbështetjes sociale dhe arritjet arsimore.

Ky hulumtim u realizua nga Instituti për hulumtime socio-juridike të komuniteti Egjiptian-IHSJE dhe mbëshetet nga Terres des Hommes, VoRAE, HEKS dhe SDC.

The research "Representation in the Media, pejorative terms and non-majority communities in Klina, Istog and Pejë" was launched.
Today, March 5, 2024, the research "Representation in the Media, pejorative terms and non-majority communities in Klina, Istog and Pejë" was launched, where institutions, activists and members of civil society were invited.
This comprehensive report addresses the challenges facing the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in Kosovo, with a special focus on the municipalities of Klina, Istog and Peja. Through a multifaceted analysis, the report examines the impact of media representation and the use of pejorative terms on these non-majority communities, shedding light on their demographic distribution, living conditions, social support systems and educational attainment.

This research was carried out by the Institute for Socio-Legal Research of the Egyptian Community-IHSJE and is supported by Terres des Hommes, VoRAE, HEKS and SDC.

Në kuadër të projektit “Ndalimi i termave pezhorativ në media (Cenzura)”, i cili realizohet nga Instituti për hulumtime socio-juridike të komuniteti Egjiptian-IHSJE dhe mbëshetet nga Terres des Hommes, do të lansojmë një klip mbi përvojen jetësore dhe vështiresitë të cilat ka kaluar një mësimdhënëse e cila i përket komuniteti Rom dhe është qytetare e Repubikës së Kosoves.
Kjo është Urma Menekshe dhe vjen nga komuna e Prizrenit, është mësimdhënëse e gjuhës Rome dhe njëkohësisht është themeluese e biblotekes së pare rome në Kosovë. Si mësimdhënëse e gjyhes Rome Urma gjtë bisedë na tregoi më shumë mbi jeten dhe veprën e saj, vështirsitë dhe sfidat me tëcilat është përballur gjatë jetës, formimit professional e po ashtu edhe gjatë kohës kur ajo ushtron profesionin e saj. Ajo na tregoi se gjatë kësaj periudhe ka punuar shumë në mënyrë që të arij atë që dëshiron, dhe të jetë e forte përball fjalëve ofenduese dhe diskriminimit të cilin e hasim ne shoqërinë tone. Duke ushtruar profesionin e mësimdhënëses së gjuhes rome dhe po ashtu si themeluese e bilotekes se parë Rome në Kosovë, Urma mundohet që të jetë zë I fuqishëm kundër diskriminimit, dhe të jetë një shembull për të gjithë brezat. Për më shumë mundë të ndiqni një rrëfim të shkurtër personal të Umres në klipin e realizuar me parë.

Within the project "Banning pejorative terms in the media (Censorship)", which is carried out by the Institute for socio-legal research of the Egyptian community-IHSJE and supported by Terres des Hommes, we will launch a clip on the life experience and the difficulties that passed a teacher who belongs to the Roma community and is a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo.
This is Urma Menekshe and she comes from the municipality of Prizren, she is a teacher of the Roma language and at the same time she is the founder of the first Roma library in Kosovo. As a teacher of grandmother Rome Urma, the conversation told us more about her life and work, the difficulties and challenges she has faced during her life, professional training and also during the time when she exercises her profession. She told us that during this period she worked hard in order to achieve what she wants, and to be strong in the face of offensive words and discrimination that we encounter in our society. Practicing the profession of a teacher of the Roma language and also as the founder of the first Roma bilote in Kosovo, Urma tries to be a strong voice against discrimination, and to be an example for all generations. Në kuadër të projektit “Ndalimi i termave pezhorativ në media (Cenzura)”, i cili realizohet nga Instituti për hulumtime socio-juridike të komuniteti Egjiptian-IHSJE dhe mbëshetet nga Terres des Hommes, Vorae, Heks dhe Sdc, është realizuar një takim me përfaqësues të Institucionit të komunitetit Rom në Republikën e Kosovës, respektivisht me Z.Sylejman Elshani, Zëvendësminister i Kulturës, Rinisë dhe Sportit në Qeverinë e Republikës së Kosovës dhe Znj.Nurije Shala, Këshilltare Politike e Kryeministrit të Republikës së Kosovës.
Në këtë takim informuam përfaqësuesit e komunitetit Rom me tematiken dhe të dhenat të cilat janë marr nga tereni në lidhje me temen e projektit (ndalimin e përdorimit të termave fyes në të gjitha llojet e mediave), po ashtu nga ana e IHSJE u kërkua mbështetje në lansimin e rezultateve dhe të dhënave nga projekti dhe mundësin shpërndarjes së tyre brenda komunitetit dhe plaftormave personale dhe atyre publike, duke marr parasysh edhe pozitat që mbajnë përfaqësuesit.
Nga ana e përfaqësuesve të komuniteti Rom ne morëm mbështetjen e plot në lidhje me kërkesat tona dhe të gjeturat e hulumtimit, e po ashtu u informuam edhe me politikat te cilat ata ndjekin në raport me temat të cilan lidhen direct edhe me tematikën e projektit, po ashtu edhe vlerësimin e tyre ne lidhje me tmën dhe të gjeturat e projektit, si temë e pa trajtuar më parë.

Within the project "Prohibition of pejorative terms in the media (Censorship)", which is carried out by the Institute for socio-legal research of the Egyptian community-IHSJE and supported by Terres des Hommes, Vorae, Heks and Sdc, a meeting was held with representatives of the Institution of the Roma community in the Republic of Kosovo, respectively with Mr. Sylejman Elshani, Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and Mrs. Nurije Shala, Political Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this meeting, we informed the representatives of the Roma community about the topic and the data that were obtained from the field in relation to the topic of the project (banning the use of offensive terms in all types of media), also IHSJE requested support in the launch of results and data from the project and the possibility of their distribution within the community and personal and public platforms, taking into account the positions held by the representatives.
From the representatives of the Roma community, we received full support regarding our requests and the findings of the research, and we were also informed about the policies that they follow in relation to the topics that are directly related to the topic of the project, yes as well as their evaluation in relation to the topic and findings of the project, as a topic not addressed before.

Në kuadër të projektit “Ndalimi i termave pezhorativ në media (Cenzura)”, i cili realizohet nga Instituti për hulumtime socio-juridike të komuniteti Egjiptian-IHSJE dhe mbëshetet nga Terres des Hommes, Vorae, Heks dhe Sdc, është realizuar një takim me përfaqësues të Institucionit të Avokatit të Popullit në Republikën e Kosovës, respektivisht me përfaqesuesit Z.Niman Hajdari zëvendës I Avokatit të Popullit dhe Rozafa Selmanaj, këshilltare e lartë juridike.
Në këtë takim informuam Institucionin e Avokatit të Popullit me tematiken dhe të dhenat të cilat janë marr nga tereni në lidhje me temen e projektit (ndalimin e përdorimit të termave fyes në të gjitha llojet e mediave), po ashtu nga ana e IHSJE u kërkua mbështetje në lansimin e rezultateve dhe të dhënave nga projekti dhe mundësin e inkuadrimit të tyre në platformë informative për të gjitha platformat dhe mediat sociale. Kjo kërkesë iu drejtua Institucionit të Avokatit të Popullit duke marr parasysh rolin e tijë si mekanizmin ligjor për mbrojtjen, mbikëqyrjen dhe promovimin e të drejtave dhe lirive themelore të personave fizik dhe juridik nga veprimet ose mosveprimet e paligjshme dhe të parregullta të autoriteteve publike, institucioneve dhe personave apo autoriteteve tjera, të cilët ushtrojnë autorizime publike në Republikën e Kosovës, si dhe vepron si Mekanizëm Kombëtar për parandalim të torturës dhe trajtimeve e ndëshkimeve të tjera mizore, jonjerëzore dhe poshtëruese, në të gjitha vendet ku mbahen personat e privuar nga liria, duke përfshirë ndalimin policor, paraburgimin, qëndrimin në institucionet shëndetësore, ndalimin doganor, ndalimin e emigracionit dhe çdo vend tjetër kur dyshohet se ka shkelje të të drejtave dhe lirive të njeriut.

Within the project "Prohibition of pejorative terms in the media (Censorship)", which is carried out by the Institute for socio-legal research of the Egyptian community-IHSJE and supported by Terres des Hommes, Vorae, Heks and Sdc, a meeting was held with representatives of the Institution of the People's Advocate in the Republic of Kosovo, respectively with representatives Mr. Niman Hajdari, deputy of the People's Advocate and Rozafa Selmanaj, senior legal advisor.

This request was addressed to the Institution of the People's Advocate, taking into account its role as the legal mechanism for the protection, supervision and promotion of the fundamental rights and freedoms of physical and legal persons from illegal and irregular actions or inactions of public authorities, institutions and persons or other authorities, who exercise public authorizations in the Republic of Kosovo, as well as acting as a National Mechanism for the prevention of torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment and punishments, in all countries where persons deprived of their liberty are kept, including police detention, detention, stay in health institutions, customs detention, immigration detention and any other place where human rights and freedoms are suspected to be violated.

Ky është Veton Berisha dhe vjen nga komuna e Pejës, është jurist i diplomuar në Univesitetin e Prishtinës ne bachelor drejtimi Juridik dhe ne master drejtimi Civilo-Juridik. Vetoni është kryetar i Partis Liberale Egjiptiane, njëkohësisht ka qenë deputet në kuvendin e Republikës së Kosovës në tri mandate, si përfaqësues i komunitetit Egjiptian gjatë viteve 2014-2021. Gjatë bisedës me Vetonin ai na informoi për rrjedhën e jetës së tijë, sfidat dhe vështirësitë me të cilat është përballur si gjatë jetës, formimit profesional e po ashtu edhe gjatë ushtrimit te profesionit si deputet dhe perfaqësues i komuniteti Egjiptian. This is Veton Berisha and he comes from the municipality of Peja, he is a lawyer graduated from the University of Pristina with a bachelor's degree in Law and a master's degree in Civil-Juridical. Vetoni is the chairman of the Egyptian Liberal Party, at the same time he was a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in three mandates, as a representative of the Egyptian community during the years 2014-2021. During the conversation with Vetoni, he informed us about the course of his life, the challenges and difficulties he has faced during his life, professional training and also during the exercise of his profession as a deputy and representative of the Egyptian community. Kjo është Hysnije Berisha dhe vjen nga komuna e Prizrenit, është juriste e diplomuar në fakultetin Juridik të përgjithshem në nivel bachelor dhe master në fakultetin Juridik-Penal në Universitetin e Prishtinës. Në bashkëbisedim me Hysnijen ajo na informoi se ushtron poziten e kshilltares politike për çështje ligjore e ministrit të administrimit të pushtetit lokal dhe gjithashtu është përfaqësuese e komunitetit Egjiptian ne komitetin për komunitete ne komunën e Prizrenit. Po ashtu ajo na tregoi për ëndrën që ajo kishte që nga fëmijëria që të bëhej avokate, dhe pa marr parasysh me sfidat të cilat ajo është përballur nuk është dorëzuar asnjëherë. In the conversation with Hysnija, she informed us that she exercises the position of political advisor for legal issues of the minister of local government administration and is also a representative of the Egyptian community in the committee for communities in the municipality of Prizren. She also told us about her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer, and regardless of the challenges she has faced, she has never given up. Now she is independent and very proud of the work she did and the position she holds, both personally in the government of the Republic of Kosovo and as a representative of the community. Ky është Ergjan Mehmeti i cili vjen nga Komuna e Shtimes dhe është i diplomuar në fakultetin e arteve dega Aktrim në Universitetin e Prishtinës. Ne bashkëbisedim që kishim me Ergjanin ne u informuam mbi përvojen jetësore të tijë, vështirësit dhe termat fyes me të cilat ai është përballur gjatë jetes dhe zhvillimit profesional si pjesë e komunitetit në Kosovë. Ne bashkebisedim me Dr.Mimozen ne u informuam me pervojen personale dhe ate profesionale, mbi veshtiresite te cilat ajo ka hasur qe nga femijerija e deri tek formimi profesional gjate studimeve dhe pervojes se punes.
