Our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Daruvar, Croatia, brought together young people from different countries to learn, share and connect.
During the exchange, we took part in teamwork activities, a recycling workshop organized by the Kosovo team, and an Intercultural Night where we shared our culture and traditions, including the Albanian dance S***a.
We also visited an Open Closet initiative, where we learned about reusing clothes and giving old items a new purpose. Working in groups, we used old clothes and materials to create new and creative designs. Our work was later presented in a fashion show where we could see the creativity and ideas of each group.
Throughout the exchange, we learned more about sustainability, recycling, teamwork and different cultures. We also learned how to communicate with people from different backgrounds, share ideas, work together and be more open to new perspectives.
The experience ended with a reflection session and Youthpass certificates, but the knowledge, skills, friendships and memories we gained will stay with us.
