Today, we celebrate International Girls in ICT Day 💻✨

At Kosovo STEM Center, we are proud to share that over 80% of our STEM Ambassadors are women and girls — a powerful reminder that the future of technology is diverse, inclusive, and driven by young women.

Through initiatives like STEMinism in Action, STEMinism Power, and our Mobile STEM Lab, we are creating opportunities for girls across Kosovo to explore, innovate, and lead in STEM fields.

We believe that when girls are empowered with skills in ICT, they don’t just shape their own futures — they transform communities and inspire generations.

A new generation rises. 🚀

On February 16th, at the Assembly of Prishtina, we proudly finalised our STEMinism Power project! We welcomed the 3rd Generation of National STEM Ambassadors of Kosovo, young leaders who have pledged to advance innovation, equality, and inclusive STEM education across our country. 🇽🇰

Their energy, leadership, and dedication prove that the future of STEM in Kosovo is in powerful hands.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Canada in Kosovo for their continued support through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). For the third time, Canada has believed in our vision, helping us strengthen Kosova STEM Centre, expand the National STEM Ambassadors network, and empower girls across all communities. 🌟

We also proudly congratulate our Championing Schools, whose commitment to STEM excellence and youth leadership makes long-term impact possible. Your support creates space for innovation to grow.

We warmly thank the Embassy of Canada for its exceptional contribution to the project supporting girls in STEM. Your support has been essential in creating new opportunities for learning, development, and inspiration for our girls.

Today, we express our deepest gratitude on behalf of the 250 girls who participated in the science camp we organized, gaining new knowledge, developing practical skills, and strengthening their confidence in their potential as scientists and future leaders. This camp was more than just an activity – it was an important step toward building a more equal and innovative future.
