Aside from our Quiz Night last night. Many of our participants were able to walk away with our Brochures and Backpack Analogy Cards.

This is all possible thanks to the team at MARFLEET PRINTING who printed these and many more free of charge for Atlas Foundation.

Our Brochure features some of our details, introduces Autism and more information in both English and Samoan. (This will be distributed to our community)

Our backpack Analogy is also in both English and Samoan. This will soon be available digitally so that anyone all over the world can have access to it as we believe that sharing information is the first step to advocating for our Autism Community.

A special thank you to our translator, Fuimaono Sita Leota; whom we have been working closely together with since registering our Charitable Trust in May.

Our first-ever Quiz Night Fundraiser was an absolute success. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support, energy, and generosity of everyone who attended.

Alongside hosting our very first trivia night, we were proud to introduce our Co-Founder and Quiz Master, Andrew Toalii Ah Liki, who shared the reason behind our name and what this foundation represents for the autism community in Samoa

‘Through our journey as parents of an autistic child, we have learned and experienced so much. We saw a vital need for a foundation in Samoa to advocate, lead the way, and be a driving force for change. We want to do more than raise awareness. We want to provide the tangible services and resources that parents and caregivers need to navigate this journey. Our story may have started with our son, Atlas, whom the foundation is named after, but that is only the beginning. This foundation is here for the benefit of all children on the spectrum across Samoa’

The Atlas Foundation for Autism extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who made last night so special:

📍 Le Manumea Hotel Management & Staff – for your exceptional hospitality and for welcoming us into your venue.

💛 Our dedicated volunteers – for always giving your time, energy, and heart to support our mission.

🎤 Dane Fabricius (aka BOO-BOO) – for being such a fantastic, lively MC.

📸 Congratulations to all our winners! Check out a few highlights from the evening below—more photos coming soon!

A special thank you to our sponsors who donated prizes for our event

We love Ms. Rachel and how much she advocates for our autistic children ♾️❤️

Ms. Rachel says autistic children are among the kids she and her team are always thinking about when they create music 💗 As she prepares to release her first album, I’m So Happy, on September 25, she says the goal is to make the musical world feel helpful and welcoming for all children.

The 23-track album includes familiar favorites alongside new songs, including “I Could Be Your Friend,” which is designed to give children a simple script for building social skills. 🎶

For autism families, it’s encouraging to hear inclusion being considered from the very beginning rather than added as an afterthought. Small choices in children’s entertainment can make a big difference in helping more kids feel understood and included.

All senses matter in autism

Our final post covering the 8 senses and their impacts on autistic individuals.

When you’ve met a person with autism, you’ve only met one person with autism.

O fa’alogona uma e tāua ile ‘otisi. (Part 2)

All senses matter in autism.

Today we will talk about our Olfactory (smell), Gustatory (taste) and Tactile (touch) senses. Sensory integration in autism relies heavily on the triad of touch, smell, and taste. Preferences or sensitivities in one area almost always ripple into the others, directly impacting emotional regulation, mealtime comfort, and daily routines.
