SSEN SSWEN have been implemented the second field trip at Hukua to Sulesai village on the north west part of Santo to Linturi to Bareo village from then south west area to make awareness about the FIRST AID. How to respond to any casualty during a disaster or accident during first help response and also delivery of First Aid toolkit distribution to all the respective communities that we reach out.
During the first aid field trip activity of FA awareness and delivery of FA toolkit all CDCCC of each community first aid Focal point are expected to know what is First Aid, and how to apply FA skills during rescue someone life out of danger and know the DRSABC action plan or CPR to apply to any casualties during time of danger. The Team provide handout of a comprehensive tool booklet to all CDCCCs even the LOOKLOOK QUICK Booklet for all CDCCCs, and they are expected to read and understand the booklet for themselves and help them to know more on the information on the handout to help them apply their skills to safe someone life of danger.

Core activities: FA awareness & FA kit delivery/distribution, CDCCC Disaster plan review & CBAP. Information sharing on Value added products, women cooperative establishment awareness, IS4T awareness, and community population update

Savings group are more than just a place to stash away some money 💷 They are testament to power of community and trust. Individual, often neighbours or friends, come together to form these groups, pooling their resources and knowledge. Trust among members is paramount. The group members trust each other to contribute regular and set by group.
They offer a scene of community and solidarity among members, which can be particularly important during disasters.
A small group of people that save together and borrow from their pooled savings is a bigger blessing for them.

From the 5th August to 7th of August the SSWEN SSEN organize a planning meeting on stream 1 and 2 project activity that are not yet implemented and the Team make planning to some outstanding activity that needed to be carried out within the next following months. To disscus and agree on the different activities to be executed and implemented for the stream 1 project and the stream 2 project. The meeting held at Luganvile town for 3 days.

♡Announcement
There are few agendas in the meeting session that identified the IS4T ( Inclusive Savings For Transformation ) program that will be organized and happen this year for some interesting community to attend that we would like to highlight here to aware the communities.
The interested communities who are interested to participate in the IS4T have been indicated in March and May 2026 during the teams First Aid tool kid distribution to West Santo and North west Santo.

- Sulesai Northwest
- Vasalea West
- Kerepua West
-Wusi-Limarua school West
The meeting have approved this 5 community for showing there interest on IS4T to work Cooperation with the SANTO SUNSET WOMEN ENVIRONMEN TNETWORK program under the Project funding of WPHF Support fund.
However, the team also meet with the department of trades staff to share another implemented activity for the following months that was aligned with the trades department to share what needs to be done in preparation before the value added products training implementation.
And also meeting with some designer companies to design the world wide awareness T shirt for No logging, No mining and No selling of ground at Western Santo with it's posters.

Santo Sunset Environment Network and Santo Sunset Women's Environment Network have been on a field trip distribution of :-
1. First Aid Tool Kits.
2.CDCCC New Assessment Form Booklet.
3.Handing over Comprehensive Certificate of First Aid.
4. Awareness on Stream 2 project activities align with the previous project activities based on :
* Recommendation of First Aid Tool Kit and demonstration of how to use and how to provide the first help.
* Explanation of the new Assessment Form Booklet.
* Brief discussion about Inclusive Savings For Transformation.
* Informing the Communities of the 2 main products to be focused with the help from Trades department to be standardized and finished product of Western Santo.
* Setting up of Western Santo women's Co-operative in Luganville Santo, to advertise western Santo's products such as Value Add, Handicrafts and Carvings.
The field trip distribution was held on the 12 - 21 March 2026.

Santo Sunset Environment Network and Santo Sunset Women's Environment Network with some CDCCC representatives manage to attend A First Aid training that was facilitated by Red Cross Sanma branch.
The participants learned about 8 modules from the two instructors from the Red Cross branch Sanma, they also participates in group activities and different s assessment assign according to the different modules.
However the participants learned a lot during this First Aid training with the helped of the 2 instructors.
We would like to acknowledge UN WOMEN our funded project donors who donate us funds to help us attend this two days First Aid training.
Also we would like to acknowledge our partners such as the SG of Sanma Province,the government stakeholders and other NGO based in Santo.

Santo Sunset Environment Network and Santo Sunset Women's Environment Network team are reviewing Santo Sunset Environment Network Policy and Constitution, also collecting quotes and purchasing some administration assets according to Santo Sunset Women's Environment Network project for stream 1 and stream 2.

SSEN & SSWEN executive planning meeting Re UNW WPHF projects stream 1 and stream 2 from 16th to 18th December 2025 is now in progress. Lots of activities passed but Resource management and conservation is every body's business.
Let us all join hands together to fight for environment justice and the world's health.
