On 19th May 2026, marks another important milestone for the Vanuatu Christian Council and REACH FAMILI SENTA as both organizations officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen their collaboration and partnership in serving communities across Vanuatu.
During the signing ceremony, the Executive Director of REACH FAMILI SENTA shared that the organization was officially established on 20 November 2025 as a new NGO committed to supporting families and addressing violence within communities. She highlighted that the partnership with the Vanuatu Christian Council did not begin today, but has been built over many years through the involvement of pastors and faith leaders working together to support vulnerable families.
She emphasized that the signing of the MOU formalizes a long-standing relationship grounded in shared faith, values, and cultural practices. She further stated that the work of REACH FAMILI SENTA focuses on addressing family violence through practical demonstrations of the Word of God, reflecting Christian values through action and community engagement.
The Secretary General of the Vanuatu Christian Council acknowledged that REACH FAMILI SENTA is now operating as a separate NGO from World Vision, enabling both organizations to formally establish this partnership for future collaboration and resource sharing.
The MOU agreement will remain in effect for three years and represents a significant step forward in strengthening joint efforts to support and empower the people of Vanuatu, particularly in the area of ending violence against families and promoting community wellbeing.
