💙 Celebrating the Hearts Behind the Game 💙
Vanuatu Netball Association (VNA) would like to sincerely thank two incredible women, Stephany Tarileo and Vasemaca Malverus, for their dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to growing netball in Vanuatu during their time on the Board.
🏐 Stephany Tarileo, our former Director of Games Development, has been a driving force behind the annual Titan FX Netball Series—creating opportunities for young girls to shine on the court. From her early school days as a player, Stephany’s love for netball has always been more than just a game—it’s been a pathway that shaped her skills, confidence, and leadership.
✨ Vasemaca Malverus, former Vice President, played a key role in establishing the now-loved Duck Duck Training. Reflecting on her journey, Vasemaca shared that the netball courts were once her safe space growing up—a place where she found belonging, strength, and confidence. That same passion has guided her work and empowered her both on and off the court.
Their journeys remind us that sport is not just about competition—it’s about community, growth, and creating safe spaces for our young people to thrive.
🍽️ To honour their contributions, a small farewell dinner was held in their honour, where both Stephany and Vasemaca were presented with gift vouchers as a token of appreciation for their service and impact.
Although they are stepping down from their Board roles, Stephany and Vasemaca will always remain part of the VNA family. Their voices, ideas, and contributions are always welcome 💫
📢 VNA will soon hold its AGM to fill the vacant Board positions.
From all of us at VNA—thank you, Stephany and Vasemaca. We wish you both every success in your future journeys. 🌺
