Tagabe Village would someday become a tourist destination where travellers can experience authentic village life in Vanuatu. The area included little enclosures for snakes, reptiles, crabs and the granddaddy was an eel that lived in the roots of a tree in the village’s creek which a few men gently coaxed out with a stick which they moved back and forth as if it were prey.
