As Live and Learn Vanuatu begins its week of celebrating its 25th Anniversary, we reflected on our journey on the past 25 years through the different leaderships, partnerships and collaboration that have shaped our path and brought us to where we are today. π±
Yesterday morning we kicked off our celebration week with a panel discussion to set the scene. Our guest speakers were few of our longest serving staffs,
β’ CRI Project Coordinator, Mrs Jessie Kampai,
β’ Country Manager, Mrs Glarinda Andre and
β’ Programs Manager, Mr Serge Warakar
They shared their experiences and the challenges that have encountered along the way and how it has brought them and the organization to where it is today, celebrating its 25 years of service in Vanuatu. π
A key takeaway from our two female leader speakers was the importance of continuing to serve with passion, embracing the joys and the importance of learning on the job and being responsive to the needs of the people we serve. Our Country Manager emphasized on the value of going an extra mile and always being ready to support our communities we the different needs that they.
Our male speaker highlighted that as we celebrate our 25 years of impacts, we are also recognizing the localization of our organization, where we have local experts in the different thematic areas we work in across Vanuatu, we have developed models that are contextualized to meet the context of our communities and are sustainable and impactful in our communities. π
As we mark 25 years of community led action and change across Vanuatu, we are also prepping to launch our first ever 2030 strategic plan. A roadmap that will guide our continued efforts to strengthen and support our communities and drive sustainable impacts across our nation!π»πΊ
